  1. No bird sales at the moment due to the bird flue. A couple of monthly auctions local to us have been cancelled. TC
  2. Transmission of RHD occurs by direct contact with an infected animal and fomites. Rabbits acquire RHD through oral, nasal or conjunctival pathways. Urine, faeces and respiratory secretions may also shed the virus. The virus may also be carried by the wind. Carriers of the virus may remain infectious for up to a month depending on climate conditions; however, the virus has been known to persist for as little as 2 days and as long as 215 days. An infected carcass or hairs from an infected animal may also transmit RHD. Fomites such as clothing, contaminated food, cages, bedding, feeders and water
  3. I think I have only had 2 or 3 whole nights sleep in 30 odd years. I sleep like a log for 3 hours then the rest of the night I spend waking and falling back to sleep, never more than half an hour at a time though. TC

  11. The best way is to ask without the use of texttalk. You can either use photobucket which allows you unlimited photos per post. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/229341-quick-guide-for-using-photobucket-to-add-pictures-to-your-content/ Or you can upload using the sites up loader but you are limited to 1'95 MB per post. To use the sites up loader click on More reply options at the bottom right of the page click on upload and just make sure your file size is small enough. TC

  20. What about his other son, Seth? And his daughters? Seven children I think Adam fathered. Like any other religion if you do not understand don't question it, and if you don't believe it leave it to others that do. Unless one questions what one does not understand, how are we supposed to learn? That goes for anything in life. TC
  21. Nor me thats why I asked. I think it is a member of the Alium family going by the leaves and the flower spike but I just can't place it. I took it that it is an early spring flowering and the mild weather and the sheltered position has allowed it to flower early? TC
  22. I just had a look at those they certainly look like them, but they are Mediterranean flowers that flower from May through June. Not what you would expect to see in flower in December. TC
  23. 2 x litre bottles of Grouse Whiskey, a bottle of single malt and a pack of smellies. Looks like I will have to buy my own socks this year. TC
