  1. As it's 2nd hand you can legally post it direct to the buyer. VCR rules apply to new airguns sold by dealers NOT 2nd hand private sales.
  2. Interested in buying - PM sent with phone number.
  3. I'm going to pass on this one as I'm a perfectionist when it comes to condition. However, I must add that for someone looking for a pure hunting machine this rifle is still excellent value. Also, PM communication has been excellent. Good luck with the sale. David
  4. PM'd asking a few questions before I buy.
  5. I think you'll find they've left this in from long ago as on their website an Ultra is £300 for a bare rifle, and a scorpion £340 for a bare rifle. Both of these are unregulated. Plus, how much will it cost you in petrol or having it sent to a RFD? Mine's £280 posted.
  6. Thanks for the offer, but I'm only looking for cash really unless something very special came up for swaps. Not many people realise that the Hornet has a regulator within its action to ensure little air is wasted and to keep the shot to shot power variance far smaller than with a non regulated rifle, meaning your shots are more consistently on target. Plus, you get a higher shot count from one fill. The newer Scorpion is generally well regarded and the Hornet is its predecessor which has the added benefit of the MMC cocking system which you can de-cock unlike the Scorpion. BSA change

  8. For sale my beautiful .22 Hornet Carbine in near mint condition. I just have too many .22's !!! Photos here (slideshow view best - click top left in link): http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/21911062 The ONLY mark on this rifle is a tiny manufacturing mark on the top left of the stock (see pics). Barely noticeable to the naked eye I have highlighted it in close-up in the photos. Absolutely MINT otherwise! Lovely grain in the stock too! This is a later Hornet with safety and 1/2" UNF barrel end (with ring cover) to take the supplied BSA silencer. Fill probe supplied too.

  10. It is the sapphire duplex model The recitcle is a normal crosshari, but thinner in the middle...if you get what i mean I have the same model with mil dots and was looking for another, so duplex not for me. Optics on these are really outstanding. I picked mine up on a combo I bought and would normally have sold it on but it's so clear and sharp. Recommended to anyone and a good price!
  11. What type of reticle please? Is this the Sapphire model? If not, which is it? Thanks!
  12. is that the going rate They go for around £150 from new with no gauge, with guage £200. Check this link: http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.as...ing%20Equipment I am looking for a resonable offer. You can get a new 7ltr 300BAR with gauge and hose for £170, or 2nd hand £140 is the going rate. As 232BAR is now not very popular and a gauge/hose will be £60 new or £40 2nd hand, you'll be lucky to get £ for a cylinder alone.
  13. Looks like he's in Stoke on Trent. I've sent two PMs yesterday and today, he's been online since and hasn't bothered replying so I wouldn't wait up if I were you!
  14. As per my PM and phone conversation yesterday, I'm having the Original 50. David

  16. Bought this via PM. Thanks Gary!
  17. They were only designed to run at 8 ft lbs. John Bowkett tuned 000's of them in the 's to run close to 12 ft lbs, for the princely sum of £23.50. He definitely does NOT tune them any more as I asked him a few weeks ago.
  18. I've had one for a year or so and it's very accurate. Have a Simmons 4x32 scope on it. Bought it 2nd hand in .22 then bought a new .177 barrel from John Knibbs for £17. Doddle to swap over. It's a keeper!
  19. Sure it's cheaper, but have you seen the postage charge!!
