It shouldn't be possible, it's only ever 1 egg and one sperm cell that join to become a stem cell, then once fertilized that egg will then grow then split, you now have twins, if they grow then split then you have quads etc etc that why litter sizes vary so much, it just depends how many times each cell splits before it grows. That said I suppose you could get a second egg I've forgotten the name of it (that is released from the ovary by mistake) thus giving you your second litter??? but that has got to be a very rare thing?

I think you'll find his missus has just dropped a sprog! might be wrong but in my experience all those smilies are about right! Probably to busy to put a proper post! :11:

Bull terrier x mastiff? why not just get a bullmastiff! Not being mean but the more people and livestock that get attacked the quicker the government has to do something about it! as long as they don't try to exterminate them, then we should be in for some sport The big question is "Will they have a closed season?" as it's the sows with young that will do most of the attacks, will they want them hit hard or just problem pigs removed?

Oh I don't know, pair of heels and them legs would look quite nice!!!

On the tenterfield website they have 11 differant distress calls you can download and listen to, would it be breaking copyright laws if I just copyed them to an mp3 player to play out of the landy's radio, then you can have em performed perfectly everytime and have them as loud or as quiet as you need depending on distance!!!

Moved house a few month's ago and only just realised the guy next door, keeps hawks (or falcons??) I know nothing about them so he said he'd take me out with the birds to help him sometime, but he's just got a new bird in and wants to let it settle down first. I've just seen it sat outside, Is it a peregrin??? It looks bigger in real life than in the photo, it's about a foot tall at a guess?

It seems to be one of the favoured breeds used all across europe along with Welsh terriers, patterdales and daschhound (spelling?) in europe the boars are run towards a line of guns so they need dogs with good noses but not so quick that it catches the boar before it crosses the shooting ride!

Hiya Jon, :welcomeani: I'd never heard of a Spanish Alano before, just looked it up, impressive breed! What do you hunt with it?

My old spanial sliced his leg open on an old can or bottle it bled like a b*****d, called the vets (on a sunday) and was told to bring him in, got there the vet had forgotten his keys for the drug cabinat's, he managed to break in to one of them and finally got the dog stitched up, he was so apologetic about the incident he didn't charge me anything! Now thats a nice vet! Friersmoor vet clinic

I've been told that bull's have something like 30% less nerve endings in their skin, helps with fighting I suppose? but doesn't mean they won't feel a punch or a kick He sounds like the type of c**t that stubs fags out on dogs to "toughen em up" Prick. :realmad:

He can only shoot your dogs if they are worrying his livestock but that said, if the worst happens and he shoot's your dogs dead then it's your word against his in court and you've also lost your dogs, so either way keep em on a lead!

Looks like a pipastrel?

Ice Age 2 is a good switch your brain off comedy, Transporter 2 aint to bad bad either.

This is what I was on about, training your dogs to stop the boar either by baying or AMM to make the bugger sit down!!! (asshole munching method!) Thanks to Eric for helping get the pics! And I've now seen why big dogs are rarely used in Europe on Wild Boar (don't forget boar don't just rip with tusks they can bite back as well!) and dogs required for that type of hunting are going to cause massive carcase damage!
-
Don't know if you noticed his national flag? Don't think he's doing to bad as this isn't his own language! I've been researching like hell on how to train a dog for boar, but so far the best I can find is to send the adulecent (spelling?) dogs into a pen with an older dog and set em on an old sow, and have the younger dogs around the outside of the pen to watch the action. The sow wont get too hurt (not enough dogs) and the dogs can escape under the fencing. I think the best way will be to just go out with experienced hunter's keep your trap shut and eyes open learn it before you try and

Why get your passport out Bullmastiff? Thought you were one of the boy's who was talking the talk! Why go oversea when we have them here my old pal You got it in one! I'd shit a brick if Tia caught hold of one of them buggers! she's game enough for anything, but I'm just a p***y! The dogs used for boar seem to be usually brought up together so they naturally work as a pack to bring em down, if you got several dogs from here together it'd be 6 individual dogs not a pack. You would of thought lurchers legs would be too delicate for it? You need either small terrier types in large number

Is your trap long enough? (The door hitting it's back) Try spring loading the door so it shuts faster, and if it does hit it's back it'll shift it forwrd not back.

Now that sounds like an invitation!!! Everyone got there pet passports ready! Were off on a hunting field trip! Ian B - If you could sort out the permission slips! and don't forget children your parents must sign it!!!

Sorry NFR I think most people on here (including me) will just end up talking the talk but not walking the walk, Would love to try for a boar but wouldn't have the faintest idea where to start, and I wouldn't want to send a dog in blind! Do you need to train the dogs to hold, release or just leave em to it??? How many dogs needed, can a dog kill a boar or do you have to step in and spear the bugger with a F**k off great big knife once they've pinned it!. No crocs to worry about round here just barbed wire and bloody sheep netting!!!
-
Chappie is one of the better ones, contains a lot of fish oil and fish meal, nice glossy coat and won't give em the squits quite so bad when you swap over, Easy way whatever you choose just mix a bit in with their regular food, sort of wean them on to it! The worse bit will be putting them back on to raw (get your hose pipe ready!!!
-
Give us a shout we'll all come and have a go! their's probably enough bull x's on here to pull down an elephant!!!! Seriously if your anywhere near somerset/Dorset border I'm game if you are!
