Right, little bit of advice needed!!! my friend brought the gun round and it's not the mk II!! I think it's the mark 4-5 but I'm not sure! Ordered the parts from chambers (all the same part No.s luckily) so just curious, here's a few photo's of it. Airsporter and HW 35

I think it was voted Airgun of the Year 2003, There's been some reports of the free floating barrel being a bit delicate but my friend knocked mine over and it was fine, you can get a barrel band to add extra stength if need's be. As with almost all pcp's it's very acurate out to 50yds + (it'll out shoot most novices) and for the price. you won't find a better gun brand new. (also logun lifetime Warranty) Most people seem to use it as a starter rifle before going on to buy the multi shot pcp's but for general hunting and mooching it's a cracking little single shot rifle. Added bonus, as it's f

As they say 'a picture says a thousand words' so I'll just post the pic! 3yr old English Mastiff.

Well looking at the nurenberg ring F1 you've got some now!!!

I know it doesn't feel like it but it is the best thing you can do for him. I had to put my spanial to sleep two month's ago due to a tumor in his mouth/nose. He was my first dog, given to me by my father when I was 12. It still hurts a bit to think about him now. It helps to talk to people that knew him too, that's when the stories of the silly, clever, brave or naughty thing's he did come out and you can laugh at the memories. Try and find yourself somewhere quiet where you can cry, scream, shout and kick some of your grief out. "We've had so many happy years, what is to come will hold n

LL you missed the best bit of the Shooting Times article. LACS are offering £1000 reward to anyone that show proof it's happening, photo's, REG plate etc. as they think it's cruel too!!! FFS never thought we'd have anything in common with them pr*cks!!!

You won't get a better offer than that Foxwarren. Thumbs up to Leveller, yet again helping beginners start out!!! Your just an all round good egg aren't you mate!!!
-
Do you cover a lot of ground or are you just infested with Foxes? every week you seem to be taking 2-3 foxes!!! Were lucky to even see 2-3 a month let alone get to shoot them! Good shooting and keep at em! Cheers Luke

If your hitting them in the head then they should drop whatever pellet your using! that's got to be either the gun running under power or the distance your shooting them at is so great that the pellet has lost it's power!!! That said the S410's in .22 is 5.5mm. AA field does come in two different sizes 5.51mm and 5.52mm, so could that be the reason your losing power with certain pellets??? Wouldn't of thought it would make that much differance.

Logun Solo using Accupell Relum Tornado using Eley Wasp.

here's what he's using. "It costs about $1000 the barrell is Lothar Walther, with coke. The everage accuracy is about 20 mm on 50 meters for ten shots. The average number of shots from one fill -- 50 with the average speed of the pellet (JSB 16 grain) 280-290 m/sec. My farest shot is the crow at 122 meters -- dead at once." - his words not mine!!!!
-
just crazy, shooting with people and cars going right past!! Little bit funny when the dead crow just magically falls from the sky!!
-
Got all the bit's for my Relum Tornado from them. One of the few companies to still supply parts for it and Technical drawings/parts list!!! The owner had a heartattack not too long ago so I think it's his son's / friends that are running the business part time whilst he recover's, so could take a while for the part's to come through (Mine took just over a month!) A guy at work has used them for a while (didn't even know he was into Air rifles until he caught me trying to get mine apart at work!!!) he said their second to none :thumbs-up: This is going to be my first real taste of B

That's exactly what I needed, thank you. I get the idea for most of it and I'm sure once I've got it stripped down a bit I'll get the rest. I'll take some photo's as I strip it down. sort of before and after! P.S. any idea what exact calibre they are? seems to be four choices nowdays!!! 5.5mm, 5.51mm, 5.52mm, and 5.6mm!!! just for the correct pellet type! Thanks again Luke.

My friend has just been given a BSA Airsporter MkII and as I managed (with help from members on here!!!) to revive my old Relum he's asked me to help fix it up a bit, so - Question is what will I need to replace? we've given it a good clean and it seems to firing straight and true but is just under powered, so I'm guessing mainspring, valves and seals. Will these need replacing and is there anything else to look out for??? Any help for a budding novice gunsmith certainly apprieciated!!! Cheers Luke

vet medic uk seems a bit more expensive at £40.32 for 24 drontal plus tablets than northolm or hyperdrug which are both £38.50 always used hyperdrug myself, cracking service and cheap delivery!!!
-
Sorry to say it Ditch as I know it's to late but the Yank site that was charging you $46 (inc p&p) was still a lot cheaper at £22 (33 EURO) than the UK company you bought it from! The Pound is really strong at the moment against the Dollar so get your US gear in now! (Once you collect the money owed you ) Well done sticking to your old rifle! most would of called it quits by now!!! Good luck with the cubs! Luke

Thank you everyone sorry for late reply just got back from me hols!!! cheers again folks

F**kin brilliant!!! at least I know how to chat to the local's once I'm up there!!

A lot of people who regularly use ASDA give out complaints about problems somewhere along the fuel line Could be bullshit though I do have a mate, who blamed ASDA's diesel on ruining the fuel pump on an old Peugeot of his. Wouldn't surprise me, I got told they put less cleaner/detergant in their fuel (hence cheaper prices) so build up of solid's in the fuel can occur in the fuel system. Go to your local smaller garage and within a few fills your MPG starts getting better!!!
-
Sounds about the same-ish as here then, at least I'm not in for any nasty surprises!!! serves me right for driving a 2.5 litre V10 petrol!!! I'll probably only manage 350-400 miles a tank! and this was supposed to be a cheap holiday I think Iceland is the only place that's more expencive for fuel than us. and that's because they have to boat it almost to the north pole!!!
-
Ouch!!! now that was uncalled for!!!
-
Just wondering what prices are for petrol up north? (Yorkshire area and West Highlands) we pay about 97.9p a litre down here (south somerset) so with a 70 litre tank (£68.50 to fill up) I don't want to fill up and get half way there then find out petrol costs just 60p!!! or vice versa costs £1.20 a litre!!! Cheers Luke

what they said MOLL. Nice Lightbulb mate!
