    Their pretty good motors, slightly thirstier and smaller than an 850 / V70 Volvo of the same age, also not quite as comfy or well equiped but if you need to go off road a bit and have to throw it about the country lanes then their unbeatable. The 4wd system is second to none but ground clearance can be an issue as their pretty low... I regularly check the mpg of my Legacy and I'm getting pretty much flat 33mpg everytime, which is better than you'd expect being constant 4wd, I don't exactly take it gently so I guess if you backed off the gas a bit you'll probably get a bit more?     The cheapest I can get!! It's not hard sometimes to get through a few hundred cartridges in a weekend if the numbers are there. and I'd rather spend £40 a weekend than £60-£ 28gm 71/2 Express English Sporter from Mole Valley Farmers are £34 for 250 28gm 71/2 Lyavale English Shorter From Scat country stores are £41 for 250 Extra few £ on either will get you Fibre wads. Any other cartridge I've found are anything from £20- £50 more expensive! even if you buy by a thousand block.

    I'll be going again this year, Probably head over on the saturday. Usually meet a few familiar faces for a chat and there's always someone selling decent Cider! The stalls are slowly being overtaken with the usual cheap tat but there's still some decent ones about to have a look at.

    Is it still possible to get a working springer with a long back and long legs that can cover decent distances? I've been looking about on the web and can't find any?? They all seem to be roughly the same height as cockers or not far off, just wider in the shoulders/chest. The show Springers got a nice length of leg/back (maybe a bit too much?) but have that rubbish coat, ridiculous ears and unknown working ability, being bred solely for their looks.     They've got to make their money back after all the flood damage claims, so most peoples quotes will be going up. this year. My wifes been looking at insurance for the last month trying to find a good deal before hers runs out. She was quoted almost £900 on the Subaru. She's checked back a few times on the comparison sites and the price seems to dramatically change daily/weekly. Last week she managed to get full cover for just over £400.... Thats a £500 differance over 3 weeks, going to the same compare sites.....
