Been ages since I've been on here! A mate said my old thread had been revived again! So I thought i'd take a look! It's been so long in fact, that the beautiful Bullmastiff is long gone and her daughter too! I've been hunting boar once more since then. It was a trip to spain, organised on here in fact. Bullx's, terriers and a beagle cross. I took the Bullmastiffs daughter (who was crossed with a bullxgrey) Tess. It was an amazing trip, met some great people and saw some wonderful scenery. Caught bugger all though!

Exactly why i stopped reading/writing on huntinglife! Lol. Keyboard kings shouting their mouth off about shit they know nothing about. Keepdiggin, you said your going to donate, go for it.... its a great cause and the links up now! Money paid. Cheers again for organising another stunning weekend. ?

Any news on the link to pay what I owe?

I haven't been on here for a while but thought i'd pop on to say thank you to everyone that made it a great day again. As always, it was a cracking do with the banter flowing as much as the booze! A massive thank you to Kev and everyone else nvolved with organising the weekend and supplying the food/prizes. A special thank you to Dyktos better half for those kebabs, they were amazing!! And to Bob for giving my boy a winning ticket. The catapult is still his new favourite toy! No broken windows yet luckily! Lol I couldn't come for the whole weekend unfortunately so just drove up for

I only knew him from the fishing comps but he always came across as a true gent. Quick to smile and great with the kids. I'm gutted for his kids, they couldn't of asked for a better dad. My condolences to his family and friends. He'll truly be missed.

Morning all! Not been on here much lately but still up for the comp if I'm allowed? Me fishing, with Emily & James to take over once I'm pissed as always! Don't know if Lisa's going to make it. She's still working mixed-up hours. -

Yes it was.

IA friend of mine makes them. Wiltshire ram's horn crooks etc. He's carved some fish from burr wood. All the scales are carved in by hand. There pretty expensive from 150-300 depending on how long it took to make but top notch sticks. I can get you some photos/prices if your interested?

Great photos sean ?. It was another cracking weekend! Great to see some familiar faces back again and nice to meet some new ones. Thanks again to everyone involved, we had a blast ?

Me fishing (If they come)? Emily to take over my peg when I hit the cider early again! Lisa and James not fishing.

Put me down for a spot. Don't know if the families coming or not yet, Lisa's trying to swap weekends at work..

As you know from the last trip, it was a great experience and bloody good fun but none of our dogs knew what they were hunting for!! Lol I think J's dog hit 1.8km on the garmin at one point then we realised it was tracking a fox! One of the bullcrosses had a run on an Ibex (which would of cost a fortune if it had got caught!) and when a Roe broke cover all hell let loose!! The lads with dogs doing it already that might lead the others don't need to go all the way to spain to get another! Saying That, if i had the dog to do it with still, I'd probably have another crack!

I believe so. I doubt their cheap though! She did a school building cake for a retiring head master once. Apparently it was amazing. She's done a salmon too for another fisherman.

An acquaintance of my wife is an artist and also makes cakes so we thought we'd get her to make one for the father in laws 60th birthday cake. He's an avid carp fisherman so what better to do than a carp! Can't believe how well she did, It looked bloody amazing so I thought I'd share it on here!!

All paid up. Cheers again to everyone for another amazing year! Congratulations for organising another stunning comp Kev ? Could you thank the owners from me please, I was a bit hung over when I left and forgot to say thank you for having us. That photo of me must of been fairly early in the match, I've still got most of a bottle of Cider left! I'll still drinking the bloody stuff now... bit sharper than previous years I think....

Slight change of plan for me . Lisa has to work Saturday now, so I'll be spending Friday with the missus then heading down Saturday. As you lot will be off fishing, I'll probably find a pub to watch the Rugby then meet up in the afternoon.
-
F*ck all use me bringing prepared food, I'm a shit cook and the wife's even worse so I'll bring the usual 20 litre box of cider with me. Pretty sure everyone enjoyed it last time.
-
Put me name down, I've managed to convince the missus that spending our anniversary with you drunken lot in the heart of Devon is better than a meal out with just me for company!

Yep, we're all good now. Life's finally settled down and let us catch our breath! I live 'hope eternal' that he suddenly comes good! At least we've got a friend with a promising bitch that comes over to put some food in the freezer! lol. His bitch running with Max seems to work. More than willing to head down. Just give me a shout when your free. ?

Here's Max, turned out about 29tts. Slimmer build compared to some of the other dogs from the litter. Being honest, he's not doing what he was got for. Been given plenty of chances. Gets in close really quickly then just tucks in behind them an follows them to the hedge/wood. I think the fast rabbits are more 'his thing' Apart from that, he's a lovely dog lol. Great with the ferrets, kids and other dogs. He's got a brilliant temperament, just not as much 'fire' in his belly as i was used to! He was pretty slow to mature though so who knows, maybe this season is his chance to shi

Glad Trish is Ok buddy, Pass on our best from Lisa and I. Modern cars are pretty clever about what they can do in an accident. It might not of needed to fire the air bags in that situation. As has already been said, quite often breaks the drivers nose when they fire off (better that, than brain damage I guess) I remember seeing a Fifth Gear episode where Tiff was explaining how far car safety had come. They crashed a Volvo 440 into a little Citroen with NCAP 5* rating at about 20mph each (so 40mph combined speed). head on, driver to driver. Everyone thought the Tank of a car wil
