I've just got one of those, they are great but require a picatinny mount. There is another seller on that auction site, selling them with an adjustable mount. They are great for night vision, but you need to be able to see the ir laser report through the scope as they are not a see through unit. With the adjustable mount you can zero it to your crosshairs. With the fixed mount you may not be able to see the laser report, so you may not be ranging what you are aiming at.

Bought 6 of these batteries and a USB charger, from a well known online auction site. I've been on 3 separate rat shooting forays on 1 charge and still showing maximum capacity.
I have 4 in my nv monocular spotter and 2 in my photon, and I've been using the onboard ir.
They weren't cheap at 40 odd quid from Hong Kong but they'll soon pay for themselves.
Leisure inverters have a battery built in, you would need a high spec one but doubt it would run for 6hrs. 1kw would be the minimum to run that unit. You may need a couple of 12v car batteries connected in parallel to a decent inverter.
Had a little wander around the rat permission, nailed about 5 but only found 2. The rat in the second pic looked bigger than the previous record, which was just under 12" minus it's tail. Will have to take a tape measure with me next time.
Try the sportsmatch adjustable mounts, that way you can optically zero the scope before you actually zero. I had the dedicated Yukon mount but nearly ran out of adjustment. As it's a digital reticule, it moves around the screen, and when you get to the extremities of adjustment it looks odd. Also I fitted a green laser to help with range finding, if you're a bit flush you could get an ir laser.

Didn't seem to be too many about tonight. Nearly made double figures, two more I couldn't get to under some pallets. Well, I could of got them, but I wasn't about to get on my hands and knees in all that duck, goose, chicken and rhea shit....
