  6. Anyone got a Seeland Thornhill jacket, just wondered how they perform. Ian
  7. I would do pretty much the same as Garypco. And add Wings to a dummy, and rabbit fur to another dummy fir. You could even put an old tight round a normal dummy for a while, when your dog has got used to retriving that, take the old tight off and put it over a bird or rabbit. Usually can be achieved over a week or two, patients is the key. Ian
  8. It's pretty normal behaviour I'm afraid John. As for being too old, it really depends on what bad habits your dog has developed, and how much time and patients you have to correct them. You would need to start from the basics, and build the foundations. It will not be easy with a four year old, but I am sure you could get your dog up to a reasonable level. Ian
  9. Like others have said you need to set the dog up to fail, why you are able to correct him. A rabbitt pen would be the answer. I wouldn't let him chase anything, until you have the problem sorted or your on a hiding to nothing. Ian
  10. Ideal dog for working on the moors if trained and bred right. Ian

  13. I would house outside, to be honest they like their own space. It is easier for you to bond with them, instead of every other person in the household and it gives you an excuse to get out of the house .
