  5. Get your old dog back and kennel him outside, that way your mrs has no need to go near him mate
  6. No jealousy here, I haven't even mentioned his gear, if you bother to look you'll see that. I won't be losing custom, why would I? Have you missed the pages and pages of excellent feedback I get for my gear? Gafer is a donater, now, he wasn't yesterday, dare I say that you have missed the point of the site too if you can't see anything wrong with spamming the site with gear for sale without giving anything back? I'd suggest you stick to doing what you were brought on here to do, namely keep the silly Irish coursing threads in check. Until you've read every single one of my pos
  7. It's as still as a witches tit here and the dews dropped, ground like bell iron on all the fields except new drilling. Hope we get a bit of rain soon....
  8. What a night that was mate, yes we were soaked but we caught 8 rabbits in the first field. Those p***y's well what can i say not a single word was exchanged just a few stares!! They probably thought what a sad pair of tw*ts being out in that weather for a few rabbits lol. We certainly caught and shot some stuff during that week, think i had 9 hours sleep that week!!!
  9. And you can carry 1/2 a bag of spuds, a bag of carrots and 1/2 a dozen rabbits 2 miles back to the car I'm a reformed character now mate ! Got my own alottment for growing veg...... I told you I was to old to run if we got chased with me carrying all that gear !! LOL !! (not to mention that mad farmer with the baseball bat !!!)/ Cheers. Too old to run, i couldn't even lift your jacket to put it in the back of the car mate lol It's amazing how many spuds you can get in a dpm camo jacket !! As for the mad farmer with the baseball bat, i'd hate to think what he would have done

That just plug straight into the back of your telly? Sounds like it...............18m of cable to play with. ya but if u connect it straight to your telly how does it record then ????????? You have to run it through the scart on a vcr recorder to record the images mate.

I wouldn't go for wireless if your using a wireless network for your broadband and most camera's use the same frequency and will reduce your broadband to a snails pace. I have a wired system with a 1tb dvr. You only get what you pay for with the camera's, my mate fitted me 30m camera's you can see well over 30 metres and the quality is amazing.
  13. A few photo's of my whippets
  14. Not going this year, it will be the first time I've missed it in 12 years. I can't justify spending the money when stuffs cheaper online. I'll miss having a laugh up at the lurchers but by the time you've walked up to the lurcher/terrier rings you've missed an hour or two walking around the fair. I think the organisers are taking the piss expecting the lurcher and terrier exhibitors to pay the full admission price when they spend all day around the show rings. I don't think they really want them there to be honest thats why they have put them 1/2 a mile from the main show, afterall the gun
  15. First of all why would you want to crate a pup for 2 x 4 hour sessions during the day, let the pup interact with people and learn it's surroundings. Yes crate the pup when it's not supervised but i don't agree in crating a pup for this amount of time during the day. I have all my pups in the house for a couple of months to house train them and socialise them and the only time they are crated is during the night and if i go out during the day. Chews, why would you want to give it a rabbit skin?? this will cause problems when you start to work the dog, he'll think it's ok to mess about with
  16. Call in mate if you fancy a night out on the lamp running a few easy northern rabbits lol. You'll be made welcome mate they turn like a bus obviously don't get out much around these parts if you think that mate. Run rabbits all over the country and the hardest are on parts of my permission "UP NORTH !!" if your ever up this way drop me a pm mate, i think you may have a different opinion after a night out here

  18. You won't piss me off mate, where i lamp it's sand land, golf courses and grass meadows where the rabbits can shift. If a dog can catch them here it will catch them anywhere.
  19. dont lie it would of got to cold after the first one and stayed in the car where its warm  lol my mate was with me and he was right pis*ed off as he was carrying most of the rabbits. never take the car mate, i walk all my permission
  20. I've had 18 one after the other without missing one with my whippet bitch vixen, she went on to catch 25 from 27 runs
  21. Some airlines require you to use a pet courier to sort everything out including paperwork etc which is a fortune in some instances. The pup i exported to the US went with British Airways and they required a pet courier, i found one in Manchester and they booked the flight, provided a vari kennel and sorted the paperwork, they sent me everything and i took the pup down to Heathrow. It still cost over £600
  22. waterproof pva is what i use, i also pin the sides and use a staple gun to fit the thin ply on the bowback bit.
  23. I use the lightforce striker mate, they do the blitz which is a bigger lamp but i couldn't get on with one, it's like lamping with a bloody wok!.
  24. A greyhound vet see's injuries like your dogs everyday and knows how to treat them accordingly. Not like the run of the mill vets who probably see the injury once a year and hasn't a bloody clue how to treat it. Can't believe you never got treatment the first time the dog was injured to be honest, and running them on tarmac and jumping onto tarmac isn't going to help. I keep whippets, and a saluki x. The saluki x would run down the M1, but the whippets certainly wouldn't without getting jarred up as they have a totally different running style.
