Remington 700sps Vs Ruger M77 Hawkeye (all weather)

I prefer the looks of the Ruger but the features of the Remington i.e the detachable magazine, the Reminton does feel great... :wacko: I personally would buy the Tikka T3 but my hunting partner has one and I dont want to get the same. Any other options? Anyone? -
We (me and my uncle) seen it at about 150 yards across the heathered hill top but couldnt get a proper shot because of the position of it and the lay of the ground. The wind was at an akward angle behind us, and he must of got our scent because he became weary and unsure and as I crawled forward on my belly to get into a shootable position, he started to run. My heart sunk as I watched him through the scope, until I noticed he seemed to be doing a complete circle and was heading towards us...I couldnt belive it, he was starting to slow down to a stop and he did. I knew I only had a split

Hi im just about to turn 17 and am looking to get a .243 hunting rifle for Roe deer. So far I have narrowed it down to the Remingtonn 700 sps or the Ruger M77 Hawkeye. Whats your opinion on both guns? Which one is better? Any alternatives? Cheers
