    No not at all..We find them in tiny earths at all times of the season ..I dig from sept onwards and not all are cubs.11inch dogs pushed out the way?? depends on the breeding but thats another thread.I keep a few lumps myself so I do not dismiss them, as said different tools for different jobs..If these lumps are often used to produce smaller dogs then something wrong there .Proper litters should be even in size YES??But getting away from the thread isnt it .The thread is about that statement (if they want it they will ..So going by your lengthy reply you imply they will??Oh edited to add did y

    My opinion is its a load of shite ..I hear it all the while only from people who only keep lumps..I keep a varied kennell from 11inch to 14 inch..My little ones struggle in places .We dug stuff last season you would hardly get your fist in ..Stick them in tight rock places or chalk watch them dig on in that ..As said sick of hearing it..Different tools for different jobs ..JMHO.

    alli,I know the reputation plummer terrier's have among working dog men and I would agree that while these pups are being bred for sale to the highest bidder 95% of them will never see earthwork,if the drive to breed recognised worker's of the right size was pursued as strongly as the pursuit of KC registration then we would see a change in attitude from people like yourself,if you have never worked this type of dog then you will not be aware of its ability.Picture's can be put up but what does that prove?I've seen picture's put up on here of dogs smashed up and all and sundry come on and cong
