These two were taken early morning over the border the first just as we arived on the ground ,he spoted us and made its way to the forestry but made the mistake of takeing one last look and down he went the second was spoted with the bins he was in long white grass hunting mice couldnt get a clear shot so stalked to a beter shooting point,after about ten mins he presented himself with a head/neck shot and down he went end of the mouse hunt shot at a close range of 84 yds ,i think these are the scrufiest fox's that i have shot and the one on the right looked like it was geting over mange (two

Been busy then v-max couple of nice looking fox's and a couple of buck's as well , were the bucks shot together they look prety similar to each other , shot two myself that were twins a couple of season ago with a stalker from the north east

There must be quite a few up there then Vincy you carry out a cull for good reason which i think is ok i but wouldnt kill them just for killing's sake

Once again a good day Foxhunter i take it you home load otherwise it must be costing a tidy packet in ammo , how do you manage to get so much quality stalking , been trying for some time with no luck , other than paying for it

Went for a days long range ? shooting over the border This area is one of our better areas for lamping foxs the first rabbit was only 108 yds but presented a small target so was quite challenging , I went to an area where i thought i could get some desent range shots at rabbits , The day was hot so this could have been why there wasnt much showing as i know there are plenty rabbits here , i got settled down after doing a bit of glassing i spotted a fox come out of a wood to the left on the far bank this is when the heart started to race a bit ,i was quite suprised to see it at mid day ,

All i done was sent a letter requesting an open ticket even though i have 30 plus farms to shoot on it was refused , i was informed that it had to be my main job of pest control before they granted an open ticket before my first renewal , as my renewal was only 12 month away i left it , when my renewal finaly arived i was granted an open ticket -

Nice going FOXHUNTER good size fox and in good nick as well ,the oldest looking fox we shot was in the Dalbeatie area it had almost no teeth at all and what was left were knackerd ,this was the first time on this ground we shot another couple that night ,looked excelent ground , a couple of week later we phoned to go back , but sods law the farm had been sold to the owners son and he was right into shooting ,so lost a good area ,fortunately we have a farm about half a mile away and have had plenty foxs of it ,one of the best areas we have in scotland

Hi Lurcherboy i got two of my supervisors at work to give me references for mine ,other wise the local postmaster and the local gun shop owner would have done it for me , but this was for a renewal , hope you get sorted ok

There is a 410 version at the range near me , they use it to shoot homeloaded solid rounds ,they say its accurate at and over 100 yds , in effect using solid rounds it is a semi auto full bore rifle :whistle:

ONCE AGAIN those living in the country side are being hit by this government robbing bas****s like most that live in rural areas i use my 4*4 for what it is designed for off road ,not like most of the city slickers and others that need a 4*4 like a hole in the head , in my opinion it is those that f*** things up for those that need and use 4*4 vehicles on a daily basis , i personaly will not sell my vehicle because of these robbers that run our country but at the moment i can get by with this robbery where as some may not , the only ones that probably wont be bothered and can afford the ris
