went out last night before the snow,walking through the second field i spotted this fox he didnt take much notice of me because he was eating a rabbit.he was about 150 yards away so i shot him with my.222,heres a pic.i always try to take them with one shot through the heart.

what do the numbers stand for on a scope?

mine is 3x9x50 the 3 is three times magnification the 9 is the zoom 9x zoom the 50 is the objective lens the end of the scope. -

went out today ferreting,went to the first bury bolted 4 into the nets.moved on then shot a few more which was to difficult to net,some snow still about had one in the net and i went sliding down the bank on my ass and the rabbit slipped the net and got away but the highlight of the day was the last but one bury when we dropped the ferret in and bolted 2 rabbits into the one net which i thought was brilliant,i have heard of someone else doing it years ago but not for many years.has anyone else done this.so i wont bore you anymore time to go.ps heres a pic of the end of day with 21
