hi guy,s thought i,d share my morning walk with you, set off with my dog this morning @ 7-45 went down lane usual walk let alfie ( my dog ) off his lead and away he went doing what dogs do, then out of hedge bottom 2 rabbits , abit futher on 1/2 dozen partridge , alfie still sniffing around 5 minutes later about 8 or 9 pheasants get up out of hedgerow then alfie pops up wondering where they gone, carried on over field gets half way over the field when all of a sudden a roe deer with twins came out of hedge not seeing us so i squat down to watch a minute or two alfie at my side just looking

i take 3 ferts 1 dog at least 50 nets locator + 2 collors flask sambwich water for ferts & dog spade fags & lighter

hi all need a bit of advice please. my 2yr old jill is always having a go at my 2 kitts ( 6 month old jills ) i,ve seperated them once and all well even when they out together she dosent touch them but as soon as i put them in the same hutch after 5 mins all hell breaks loose. so do i keep the 2 yr old on her own or do i leave them to it to sort it out them selves. by the way the hutch is 8 foot long 2 foot wide 4 foot high so theres plenty of room for them all. thanks cjw keep hunting

hi all my seasons over as mrs cjw had a fall in the swimming baths and badly broke her hip, she is in hospital waiting for her opperation to replace her hip with a steel one, as they carnt do it for a week because she on blood thinning tablets, ( she in agony bless her ). so i,m retiring my jills for rest of season & putting my nets up to dry. so to all the ferreting boys & girls enjoy rest of season and happy hunting. all the best cjw

been out this morning 8-30 to 12-30 got 11 rabbits out of 5 sets only 1 with young in it so i,ll keep going for a couple weeks and see how it go,s. so not a bad morning really. keep hunting cjw

RABBIT CURRY IS VERY NICE. TRY IT WITH PIGEON ITS DELISH. THE ABOVE RECIPE IS EXACTLY LIKE CHINESE TAKEAWAY CURRY. CJW

2 tsp curry powder 1 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp chinese 5 spice 1/2 tsp chilly powder 1 tsp garlic powder mix well (dry ) 1 cup corn flour 2 oz butter 1 tbsp olive oil. 5 mushrooms (quarted ). 1 med onion. 1 cup pea,s. 5 tbsp veg oil. put butter in pan with olive oil & melt then add all dry mix execpt corn flour cook 2 minutes take off heat then put in flour & mix to a paste add 1/2 pan water back on heat & wisk till thick set aside take meat off back of rabbit slice 1/4 inch thick . heat veg oil in a wok till hot & cook rabbit till golden brown. add chopped on

hi all this is how i do my rabbit pie & its delish. put jointed rabbit in a large pan cover with water, bring to boil then turn down as low as possible & simmer for at least 2 hours, when cooked take meat off bone & cut into bit size pieces. then 2 carrots,1med onion,1 cup peas, & cook. drain off. mix with meat & then put 1 can of mushroom soup in or chicken ( condensed ) . make your pastry fill with mixture & cook @ 170 untill golden brown then fill your boots. enjoy. cjw

hi all my albino jill has just started swelling ( noticed this morning ) my question is can i still take her out on sunday ( weather permiting ). my 2nd question is how long before i can put a sniped hob with her as i don,t want to make any mistakes. thanks & keep hunting. cjw

i feed mine ( 2 jills) on dry & fresh if there is any left in the dish i don,t feed that day . then next day 2 handfulls dry or 1/2 rabbit. keep hunting cjw

after a good day with ace5 yesterday i started to gut the rabbits in the field i had done 5 or 6 then when i opened the naxt one to my suprise it had young inside. just wondering has anybody else had this yet keep hunting cjw

hi all well i picked my lad up at 8-30ish this morning and set off to some new land we got the other day, got there about 9-15 first set coverd down went ferrets, 2/3 mins 1 bolt but got out of net then another same thing out of net pissed off or what, lifted nets off and on to next set, netted up down they went, 3 at home all netted and on we went, 2 more then one snook out of bolt hole i missed. next set 1, next set only 3 holer and 2 at home so ended up with 8 in the bag, not bad for a couple hours got home for 3 oclock so in the end quite pleased with the day out, beats being sat at h
