this is my moan about c/w as all mags with lots of adds they don't knock any products and are very PC plus dont let readers give any ideas on saving money diy gear and not shop bought so as an old sceptic i think the add people have more influence in these mags and that the hunting content comes secound.Moan over solved the problem and saved money don't get any mags just look into THL site but this site should come with a warning CAN BE OBSESSIVE.

thanks mate but i live a bit to far away. what do you have to take off to get to it don't want to sound nasty but if you don't know how to get to the belt and you dont have proper tool then suggest you pay a mobile mechanic to fit belt .the logic to this is first you have to replace belt anyway secound when belt is fitted and you crank engine you will be able to find out what if any damage done by checking compressions on each cyl this will give you a better idea of the cost of the job and if you are lucky a belt fitted may be all that you pay. good luck.

not hard but you do need to have a timing setting tool. I can loan you one if you live in my area the tool i have covers engine codes 16d/16da/17d.

Help with getting moderator for centrefire
hily replied to SUNDAYBAIN's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
go and get a application form from police station it'll give you info you dont have to supply refferees but you do have to send a photo for a variation as they have to attatch it to you new ticket PS the force i deal with is northumbria but i think they all follow the same guide lines the info leaflet is straight forwerd.reasons for mod = health and safety to protect your hearing, and disturbance of naighbours. -
stick a new belt on and crank it up that the only way you'l know £15 for a belt buy or borrow timing kit halfords

Louis don't keep a record of quantity anything in the bag is a good day I do remember a day in late spring it was dull and damp and i only whent out to give my young spanial a few flushes on bunnys but it was one of those days when the dog bumped out one bunny after another .on the way out we took 6 rabbits and had to leave them on a fence line to collect later as they where getting to heavy to carry .Plus we got another 4 on the way back i ran out of cartridges and the dog almost worked to a standstill and we where only out for an hour and a bit whent home happy that day.

The day was cold, bright and calm with no wind smashing for a ramble but not so good for a rough shoot. But out with the gun and dog and some mates got to be better than work.Started down a wet and marshey gully full of reids and grass tufts bumped out a few bunnys got off a few shots and the dogs had couple of retrieves the noise put up about a dozen mallard off the burn a few hundred yards down the gully we all got down but the ducks flew straight off and away made a mental note next time split up and come from both ends of the gully in the hope that the ducks will fly over one end or the oth

Got out early this morning to go up to the shoot to put out 15 bags of corn into the feeders and 5 bags of sweepings onto the rides and into the burns plenty birds about in the warmer woods and glad to see a lot of mallard resting up on the burns. As i fed the burns the ducks got up and then even before i had finished feeding they where trying to drop back in maybe to do with the snowy conditions + the ponds are frozen over and the ducks settled onto the only open water around here and of course i've been feeding up since august and not shot over it yet anyway looks good for tommorows rough s

neil your spot on i've come across many foxes when beating and rough shooting in marshy areas they seam to lay up in the reeds where the ground is raised most of them looked as if they had been sleeping and where sluggish when first flushed i think the dense reedbeds hide them well and its warm but in my opinion the densnnes cuts down the sound and scent of anything approaching them just my theory.

Barnardos insult to Gun owners
hily replied to tom1cameron's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
sent in complaint against the use of donations to make a film that is more about the demonising of people that hunt than about peoples attitude towards kids. -
