Idon't think the gene pool is that big as to have seperate types i go for the look of the dame and the sire when i say look i don't meen bonny or colour i meen stature close coupled or long body good muscle etc. However if it has a good few ftch in the pedigree than i make use of the judgment of others that the line has the bassis for the dog to turn out well to do the job it was bred for and that is if i am good enough to be able to train it .I have come accross duds from both sides so its the luck of the draw .MY ONLY ADVICE SEE BOTH SIRE AND DAME WORK WHEN NO PEDIGREE IS OFFERD OR VERY F

I'am the first to admit it i am prejudice when it comes to people and the older i get the more politicaly right wing i am i put this down life experiences and possibly ignorence .At work i have being teamed up with a lad from the phillipeans and we work together no problem . this lad dosn't have have much to say so bait time can be a little quiet so i took a book in to pass the time away this book was about hunting it was Mike swans rough shooting anyway this sparked a flood of questions from the phillipeano about how we hunt here so he then gets on about hunting back home and how he and a pa

I don't know much about keeping poults but to keep buzzards off them I would seriously not recommend putting dead rabbits around your pen ... everyday!! They would learn to keep coming back again and again, and the amount coming would grow in numbers so one day you may not put out enough rabbits or not put any out at all ... and you'll be fecked. I say this thought especially referring to the Red Kite watching centres: where they put large amounts of meat out and about at a regular time at a regular place and massive numbers turn up every time for the free, easy meal. our the shoot is

As I have the shooting rights over a farm i am expected to do some pest control this includes lamping now it takes 11/2 hours to get their so to make it worth the travel i stay all night and do a bit work arround the shoot untill noon then head of home.As i work nights i can get a kip after my shift and set out to the shoot later that day also the wife is used to me not being their at night so it do'snt bother her .We all know it's safer to go out in pairs so i try to get some one to go with me, as all the lads are in work it can be hard to get one to commit to going out on a reguler bassis .S

Both types are ideal for the roughshooter but it can depend on the terrain you hunt and the time you spend out hunting .The springer is or should be longer in the leg and a bigger biuld than the cocker so if your out all day in heavey going like say heather or windfall maybe springer will be the best, even then you might have to have a couple of springers one to work in the morning and one after lunch as with all spanials they will go all day but when they tire they stop entering heavy cover and can miss game.cocker i,ve not had one but been out hunting whith them in the line a good un,s blo

not sure but if its possible to do if so is it not allowed as it could corrupt the native grays because i think you are not allowed to release chuccers . some one out their may know the legal side of it . -

sally and polly

sally and polly sallys 9yrs seen it done and got the t shirt ok shooting bunny's over but now no good in beating line. Polly's 2 1/2 yrs and she is becoming a little cracker when out rough shooting she will get her chance at the beating line this season as sally is now retired from that sort of work as her selective deafness kicks in and my blood pressure rises when it comes to flushing birds from woods.
