  2. most books are a good tool to help structure you training geting the lessons in the right order and yes lots of good folks are willing to help but if you don't know what questions to ask !!!!!! trial and error you could end up with a part trained dog for over 10 years.joe irvine good help
  3. A lot of folks on here want somewhere to shoot but when an oppertunity comes along nobody wants to pay for their sport.can't see the point of going to the trouble and expense of getting a license and gun and even maybe a dog if you only hope to get out there and shoot for nowt sorry about the rant but getting into a syndicate is a good step forward and can open a lot of doors and even if you only go and look at what is on offer for your money then at least you have gained an idea of whats out there. rant over bye the way good luck with the shoot spanj

  11. To some folk on here a fox is the most hated thing on the planet and should be killed on site i put this down to some immaturity and some daftness To me it is a pest to be contained . On the other hand at the moment the media will insist on showing fluffy fox pictures and nice rescue storys at one time a fox was respected for its sly cunning and cruel nature now it can be trusted to run a bingo company and even the latest robin hood film is said to be not as good as the cartoon one with the fox as the main man and thats it we give the fox to much credit in the way it is humanised by the media
  12. On night shift i come accross lots of foxes on the prowl last night the count was 5 cubs and 2 adults as well as foxes you should see the rats about checking out the the left overs littering the streets if the council used as much effort to prosecuted the ar holes who drop half eaten carry outs as they do with dog owners who's dogs foul  in the street then they might reduce some of the foodstuff that feeds these vermin and in turn reduce the amount of vermin that feed on it.yes foxes are pests but its man made in the urban area i.m.o.

  15. So how do we get folk who ask gamekeeping questions in the shooting sports section to post in the the right forum would it be possible to alter the title to gamekeeping including part timers and d.i.y.or do we get these questions moved to the correct section.I agrea with gerron gamekeepers are the best folk to discuse keeping issues but i think many members on here are like myself and only look in the forums that interest them.also sometimes you might have a question that seems daft and you don't want to be shot down by some big nasty keeper
