listen people iv been out with these hounds and if i had the room and the cash i would bite his arm off at that price, who ever has them will not be disapointed. like its allready been said how often does a full pack allready hunting come up you could pick them up today and be out hunting tomorrow. dont forget these hounds have been cared for by just two people with no help from others, so i think its a fair price to ask. The vet was brilliant georgem600 and i would recomend them to any one, how can you give an opinion like that when just three weeks after the op he is puting full wait on the leg and is allready walking without a limp, so im gonna stick with it and bollocks to what people say about it being a waste of money and time and i will proof the douters wrong, Il try and get some photos up for all who are intrested

iv got a russelxwhippet mate shes 14 march coming and i must be honest i wouldnt swap her for love nor money, if ferreting and bushing is your game then you want go far wrong, she was an accident mating russel dog got in to my mates whippet bitch and he gave me the runt of the litter the biggest mistake he ever made lol, shes 19tts and the heart of a lion she also done a few reduns in her younger days aswell, id give anything to have her time over again ATB TD

I know what your saying desertdog iv had bad injuries but never a break so dont really know the outcome but like you say time will tell, he want be out mooching again till the tail end of the season when im winding down even tho the vet said hed be alrite to work again as early as christmas time but i dont really want to take the chance so just have to wait and see and fingers crossed it will all come good thanks again people for the advice TD

chears for yor views lads, im well happy with him he had an operation on it 3 weeks ago monday coming an is already walking with out a limp he just holds it up every now and again when hes standing still, and to answer your question desertdog he didnt have it pinned mate he had a titanium plate put around the bone, the vet said this was the best option cause it would act as a sort of brace in the future and add extra strengh to the bone because hes a working lurcher, but he was pleased and confident of a full recovery and cant see it ever being a problem in the future

My lurcher broke his leg a while back and is now recovering, but all the dog boys around my way reacon iv wasted my money and time in getting him fixed, the vet said he would make 100% recovery because it was a clean break and because hes only 11months old so what are these lads on about ? iv worked lurchers for the best part of 15 years but have never had a dog break its leg before, just lucky i guess, so are these lads talking sense or shit ? whats your views on this. Hello all, havent been on for a while (internet trouble) anyway just thought I would let every one who asked to keep them posted that my lurcher Taffy is doing well and has still got his knackers he has had a plate in his leg and the vet said, (who was brilliant by the way) that it was such a clean break that he should heel back 100% and that there should'nt be any problems in later life, he even said that if i get him back to fitness nice and steady, i could start working him again by christmas, so im well happy and its all thanks to you guys for all the advice help and ideas that you gave m

no mate but should all be done tomorrow got my credit card today just waiting for the pin hopfully get it tomorrow and then straight to the vets, i didnt go back to the rspca today phoned them and they said they just wanted to check his splint, so i told them where to go, so if every go's to plan i should fingers crossed be posting some good news on here for a change tomorrow night, thanks for asking

H all, my lurcher dog broke his leg while lamping and is having treatment, i would like to know is there anything extra i could give him like vitamins or diffrent foods to give him the best possible chance of a good strong mend, Thanks TD

Spiderpig belive me iv never been so serious and genuine in my life, but i do have some good news, iv been acceppted for a credit card with my bank barclays this morning and should have it by wednesday it has a £2000 limit so should be more than enough to cover him, hes on antinflamitorys till wednesday because the swelling is so bad, so ill take him straight to a decent vet then, iv also found a decent vets thanks to Kiz iv spoke to them they said they can deal with the break no probs and will charge a cheaper rate because of the situation im in. so thanks every one for the help hopfully thi
