    shows how much ferreting you done in your 15 years because rabbits do bolt better when its frosty but if it a really cold day and a very hard forst its hard to get them rabbits to bolt and i no my ferrets and if they dont show after about 20 or 30 minutes its time to get the mark 3 witch is well easy to use i cant understand why people have problems with them because a got the mark 1 and the mark 3 and i find the mark 3 better and faster to find the ferret and yes i have dug some very big holes for you to fall in to and i will fill it in after

    not being funny but i would say in that 15 years you been ferreting you dont do much ferreting if you only had to dig 3 or 4 times think your one of them who hunts in the pubs and at shows and stufff you like to talk about it but you dont no why you think a ferreter allways has a collor on a ferret or a hob with a collor on coz you get blocks a lot so you dig rabbits out and on really cold days sometimes the rabbits will not move so its dig after dig

    its easy to make a quick set net all it cost me was the net then you put hazel poles on with duck tape and for the basket you use a postmans bag

    best ferreting dog is a beddy but they will all so take other things if you let them a got two 3/4 bedlington x and they lamp and ferret and take foxes. but they are no good on big fields because that not a fast dog but there clover so they can easy catch on the lamp.

    not being funny but the mark 3 is easier to work then the mark1 and you find the ferrets alot faster i got both mark 1 and mark 3 ferret finders but i all ways use the mark 3 now coz it is so much better and some people say its noisy but that helps you to pin point the ferret . it tells you how to use it on the instructions

    half cross beddy greyhound will do it all lamp rabbit and ferreting and take foxes they will try anythink and there easy to work coz there killing michines

    best x is my eyes beddy whippet or beddy grey hound and what do you wont the bull x for coz if its for ferreting why the hell did you get a bull x

    i run the dogs all year round but ferret over winter but do abit in summer if there pests

    i done that but it was only 6 foot deep but took ages and from this post you can tell who goes ferreting alot and who doesnt go if you no what i mean

    lol my two lurchers are good at ratting i would say they are as good as most other dogs

    Did i say every one is like that but this way there seems to be a lot of the x but the people just have them for show and i used to go out with a mate and his half x and that would kill anythink

    lol my border collie is a good little ferreting dog he marks well and holds rabbits in the net and he is very stady but he cant catch them if they slip the net or come out of un netted holes but i got two beddyx that do so when i go ferreting a got a little term with me because most of the time its me one border collie the two lurchers jack and jill and the ferrets and net and stuff all 3 dogs get on well
