hello i never seen a pure bedlington work but if there any think like beddyx i would have one. i have 2 3/4 bedlingtons and they have been to ground and lamp foxes at night but there not that fast to get foxes all the time so the fox has to be close. good little ferreting and bushing dogs aas well and have had there fair share on the lamp. also they love ratting. one thing is they dont no when to stop some times when it comes to earths.

it all deepends on where you live. because my best this season was 13 but last season when i live in north wales was 35 same with lamping had 12 twice this year with my dog but only had 16 runs could have more but the rabbits are not around hear

Only saw one Beddy Whippet many years ago and only saw it twice on fox, very game, took one out of an earth in the day and had one on the lamp. Not seen any others though, but prior to the ban I used to take foxes with my pure-bred Whippets. my two beddyx do fox but there 3/4 bedlington x greyhound but 20 inch tall just need to be faster to be a good fox dog really

lads everyone to there own and it deepends on type of ground and prey to run and how it is to be hunted. but cant understand when people slag diffrent cross of like one lad said about the beddy whippet there one of the best dogs for bunny bushing. and with collie x ye they maybe head strong but there clover thats why and will get crafty some times so everyone to there own is nt it. but theres some breeds you wouldnt have like the toy dogs and that like a pug

you will never get a dog that is good at being a all rounder and i see no ones said about the beddyx because he said ferreting and lamping and a beddyx will have foxes and you all no what there like rabbiting and they have a very high prey drive.

come on then what car would you say be best to get for running around lamping and ferreting because i passed my test about 6 months ago and been on my dads van but its a pain when he works away because that means no lamping got about £1000 to get a car so what you think i should get

will i would nt sell i good dog. why not get a pup and by next season it will be ready to start working. and most people that sell there dogs do it because the dogs dont meet the mark they wont like there hard mouth or good at lamping but not stock brocken

lads i take my border collie ferreting as well as the bedlington cross i got he catch a few but he is to soft and cant hold the rabbits same with rats he throws them up in the air. but for marking i would put my life on it that there is a rabbit or rat in there. just a shame he has been done because if he was put over a geryhound bitch there would be plenty of brains in the pup and he can run all day. well most sheep dogs can.

my two beddyx used to work fox before the ban above ground but also been in earths a couple of times but you wouldnt no there in because they hardly make any noise.

has anyone got his number because i wouldnt mind putting boy blue over my beddy greyhound it was in earth dog running dog a couple of months ago but i lost it. thanks for your help or if you no anyone else with a stud like BOY BLUE

well said and you can blind the dog if you put the lamp on the dog but usly the dog runs in the dark after the light where there is a bunny or what ever and you can shake the lamp and that makes rabbits turn the other way from the cover some times

why dont you just get i young ferret its not hard to get them going and some people will say there ferret is working but its not really

my bitch went abit funny on the lamp when she was in season she hit a foxs and about killed it then she let it go and run after it but not trying to catch it

not being funny but a beddy x greyhound would just be the same but might not be as fast
