deepends on the type of land you run coz i big dog wont turn like a little dog. at the end of the day i think its to do with the dog. but you dont need i fast dog for lamping. unless the rabbits are lamp shy. but catch them befor they do get lamp shy

why sale her then? might be best dog you had? not many people would sale a good young dog. well i wouldnt sale a crap dog if i had him or her from a pup.

You say he and she in your post if its a bitch i think it will 19tts tops and will not have the fast pace a well bred whippet at the same size has so you will have to choose your runs for it as that type of dog will not benefit long slips on rabbits that are up and running [bANNED TEXT] you switch the lamp on.atb dell have you ever seen a beddyx run my two old dogs was 3/4 beddy 1/4 grey still caught loads of rabbits on a lamp. the bitch was always better then the dog on rabbits but the dog was better on things that bite back like rats and so on

my two old beddyx are 3/4 still had a lot of rabbits in there day and a few foxes even the od hare

sale them for a few quid each. might even make some pocket money on it for xmas -
got them ready that night so just had to drop them off after work so we could go back out lamping that night to make a few more quid.

wasnt a good night to go out. but was worth it to see the dog run. And need to take my mind off my old lurcher who has gone blind so not to sure how well this season going to go but so far the young pup fitting right in on the lamp. just a shame she wont retrive the rabbits. but the old one didnt till she was 4. pictures not that good. anyway am off to bed

my two when they was working two seasons ago aged 6. but now the bitch is blind. and the dogs to old for lamping. but still loves ferreting and ratting.
