  1. LMFAO!!!!! :clapper: :clapper: Can I vote for milo? LOL!!!!
  2. I agree with Shaun here for £62 per year you have peace of mind in your shooting pursuits. I have also gained another 300 acres of land all to myself after showing my regular land owner my insurance membership card from BASC. BASC is the most reckignised of all the shooting policies out there and I would say it carries more weight in a landowners eyes because of that. So get insured every year because you never know when that little card and all it stands for will come in handy, especially dealing with the Toffs class of people seeing as they own most of the countryside in England....
  3. I find my high powered green laser useful for shooting from the hip and range finding in an instant. Also IR (Illuminated Reticles) are another fantastic gizmo for low light usage and lamping, to aquire the target in an instant....
  4. Hiho leave the lad alone matey from what I've seen you are as ignorant as pig shit in nearly all of your posts, I find you blunt and very rude to some members here. Aarron is willing to learn whilst you make out you know it all. You are a 13 year old child and I put it to you that you know f**k all compared to some.... All I ever see, is you thread jacking and insulting this lad and enough is enough!! Keep it on topic and try to post something with more than 3 syllables please......
  5. I agree with Sterry here and nowadays most farmers and landowners in this land of suing and claims culture only let insured shooters onto their land. I have the full membership as I also shoot shotguns, 17HMR and 22LR rifles....
  6. At last an intelligent thread started on THL I mean I get fed up with the usual suspects like "what airgun" "what pellet" etc etc. I'm sure I speak for all on that one Back on topic It seems that most PCP rifles are not regulated so finding the pressure that suits your gun so that the zero and power stay the same is a tough call. I had this with my old MK1 Rapid as there was a noticable power curve to each fill. It's well worth getting your guns regulated properly so your shot count is increased and the consistency between each shot is nearly the same. This will stop any issues with wha
  7. Firstly I never clean my barrel and would never put any foreign object in it either I only use Air Arms Field Diablos and sometimes JSB exacts in the heavy flavour . As for pellet lube you only need 2 drops maximum put into a tin of 500 pellets and then reseal the tin. Then begin to roll the tin in your hands gently to work the oil into all the pellets. I'm sure that after you've put 50 or so of the lubricated pellets through the barrel it would have cleaned the barrel enough, without removing the bedding of lead through the rifling.. This is all a bit GAY or field target tin chicke
  8. It certainly makes all the difference when your out lamping as these optics are fantastic!!!

I have to second that view on lamps here as I fully agree with what Sean says. Just get a proper lamp and have the job done right. All these cree lights from Tescos are just no good for lamping rabbits full stop! Buy a good lamp from the start and save yourself any embarressment in the field when you go shooting with a friend using a proper lamp...

Logun filters and lamps are total poo mate, the red filter in particular is way too dark a red and you'll be lucky to get a beam go more than 30 metres with the logun filters.... I field test a lot of stuff for my local gun shop so I'm talking from experience....
  14. I've seen this freak out shooting dressed in this get up

Agreed the biggest load of bull sh*t hype from Deben is those tactical lamps with the stock batteries. All I can say is what a fecking joke they are when you just about get 1 hour if you are lucky from one battery fully charged I get nearly all night (8 hours lamping) with my Cluson battery with the standard 15 watt bulb in it. I've now upgraded to two batteries and added a 20watt bulb in it but I've not yet used the second battery on a lamping trip CLUSON ALL THE WAY AND THE PRICE IS BETTER THAN DEBEN TOO

IVE BEEN LOOKING AT GETTING ONE FOR A WHILE . BUT TO BE HONEST IVE BOLTED A CLUSON LAZERLITE ON AND IT WORKS FINE . SOME OF THE GUNLIGHTS HAVE A VERY TIGHT BEAM , WHICH IVE FOUND , CAN MAKE SPOTTING STUFF DIFFICULT , MEANING I ENDED UP CARRYING 2 LAMPS . JUST MY OPINION OF COURSE . This man is right Clusons are very good, I've field tested all the Debens and most have battery issues ie they run out when you most need them. If you focus the Cluson lights well they will give you a good spot as well as good flood light capabilities. You won't go wrong with the Cluson range and they las
  17. A bit steep on the price £950 I've seen second hand MK2 Rapids with all the kit go for less...
  18. Correction in any .177 you always get less shots per fill than in .22
  19. .177 caliber all day long in a sub 12ft/lb rifle
  20. Well you don't use a spanner to undo a screw and you don't use a screwdriver to tighten a nut What I'm trying to say is "right tool for the right job" This is a fire extinguisher and it's for putting out fires, diving bottles are for air and can take the pressures needed to fill air rifles. If you want my advice goto Best fittings select your product add to cart and get your wonger out you tight git
  21. I just went into the apps store on my iphone and searched for ballistic calculators about 6 choices came up and the top one cost £5.99. Here's the homepage offering it for $4.99
  22. I'm lucky because I have a good acre plus for back a garden and the b'stards love attacking the pretty song birds around here I've been sniping the feckers from my Velux tilt/turn window in my attic and they don't know what's hit them If you shoot one then their greedy mates will come to investigate and you can get some more. I take my hat off to these feckers though as they still spring about and make the target no as easy to shoot.
