  1. Thanks sumo as explained above he was not easy to get, one would say an educated Magpie. So he took a bit of cunning from myself to bag him As for selling this pistol I'm afraid to say I don't think I will as the .20 version is not made anymore. If I ever have to sell it though I will promise you the first refusal
  2. Here's my older cat teaching the youngster what to hunt
  3. Well just of late I've been getting bugged by the hardest vermin to shoot with any air rifle, but I done this with my CO2 pistol. I'm talking about those evil Magpies or black & white bandits. This b*****d has been waking me up every morning at 05:30am-07:00 for weeks. Losing sleep is not good for me as it ruins my day, today this bandit cackled his last cackle I'm now looking forward to a good lay in from now on , when I got downstairs to greet the dead quarry in my backyard I found both of my cats curiously inspecting the bounty. To illistrate for you why this bugged me so much is be
  4. I like shooting extra strong mints because the shatter every where and look pretty impressive whilst viewing the impact through the scope...
  5. Nice gun you have there, I used to have one myself and although some people think it's heavy I found that any recoil was soaked up with the guns weight. Not to mention it was very accurate once zeroed in properly....
  6. I voted but the title of this thread did nothing for me as it was not descriptive in any manner.................
  7. Nice MFR you have there wats I'm having myself a Theoben S Type in .177cal very soon. I've owned the Mark I 12/200 in the past and know first hand that Theobens are the dogs nuts!!
  8. I Fooking love that!!!! Nice mate!!! Thanks mate as you can see it was a pet project and cost a few bucks to do it but worth every penny considering how quiet it is when you shoot it. 2 days ago I took a crow off my chimney pot at a range of 20 yards (good clean head shot) without disturbing anyone or anything The Weirauch silencer really comes into play when stealth is needed
  9. My Sheridan CO2 pistol .20 caliber fully kitted out and is a great little ratter.....
  10. That's the one...been playing a bit today but not had the chance to mount it yet, new mounts for MR Tikka on order! Optics do seem really quite good, very useable up to 20x mag and most definately useable at 24 times. Very clear at the bottom and middle magnification range. 5 settings for each brightness on the Red or Green IR. No idea yet how it will dial in to zero and how it will hold it. Build quality and lettering/figures printing all done to a budget! But I was happy enough after my first JSR to buy another!!! Thanks please let us know when you've mounted it a
  11. Thanks for that info mate as I was looking at the JSR 6-24x50 IR scope myself and thought it looked rather good for the price of £89.95. Could you do a review of it when you get some time?
  12. Welcome to the forum Norman Pull up a chair and make yourself at home....
  13. Can you do a review on your JSR scope? I'm interested in these scopes to see how they perform under low light and lamping conditions etc....
  14. If you want to camo your scope then try this >> http://www.ronniesunshines.com/product_inf...d32d0dfad4aff0f
  15. Nice composition mate, what F ratio did you shoot it at?
  16. It's such a shame the some people in society feel the need to commit serious fraud and fair play to the policeman that see through those fraudulent gits story....
  17. At least you have a tree rat for the BBQ
  18. .20 for me guys regardless of the cost as you get the best of both worlds in stopping power and flight trajectory. If you check Ben Taylors out they've developed a nice hunting pellet in .20 and also the Logun penetrater's in .20 are excellent too....
  19. thats a bit too far for me to go What about your nearest gun dealer/shop can't they order what you are looking for?
  20. Myself and a few others of my friends have been waiting for a few rifles and it seems that a lot of gun dealers are having delivery problems due to safety check before the delivery. This is for Crosman's and some Logans...
  21. I would have thought high grade steel....
  22. I like happy endings and I'm glad it didn't cost you more than £30
  23. Here comes the spanner in the works .20 caliber you get the stopping power of .22 and almost as flat trajectory of the .177
  24. What gun are you referring to? sorry though i put this on my other thread ... its a SMK QB78 I've only ever seen the 88g CO2 canister on the SMK XS79 but maybe it can be modded to take this canister. But I don't think for one minute you'll get 2 x 12g capsules to fit into your gun.... It takes 2 12G co2 cartridges I did not know that oooops but as I say you may be able to find a modification to use the 88g canister if you do please let us know your findings. I use two CO2 guns a KingRatcher and a Benjamin Sheridan pistol in .20Cal and both are very good guns
  25. Pump some weights and strengthen those arms Then the S-Type will not be a bother to carry on a long shoot
