Still a nice shot even at six yards as the target was moving and I know rats can shift fast too. I've fitted a green laser to my King Ratcatcher for just this sort of thing...

shame that gun you linked isn't a .20 like your one The .20 version was only made for a couple of years from 1999-2001 they are a rare as rocking horse S**T now....

Absolutely it's whisper quiet with the Weirauch silencer and without it you would think it was a .22 bullet handgun...

I've just added a 60mw Green laser to the Ratty and man it performs really well, it's extremely accurate for shooting from the hip and does rats really good as they don't bother with 532nm green light. Feathered critters fly away from any laser so I don't use it for them....

The silencer is a Weirauch 1/2 inch UNF thread and on the pistol it has an adapter to thread the silencer onto, this is the only custon part which you can get from here>> http://www.sdcustomdesign.com/parts.htm#benjamin

£250 would certainly cover all the gun and the extras to make the King Ratcher a formidable gun for the money spent

The trigger shoe makes the trigger action more positive with more surface area for the finger to feel. It's all just personal choice to be honest with you. Thanks victor I'm glad you like it and I will post my results once I murder some vermin

Agreed the standard Ratcatcher had it's problems but the King Ratcatcher has had all the known issues sorted out with the shot capacity, the accuracy and the trigger system is much improved... Thanks maltenby all of what you say above is right on the mark with the King Ratcatcher and I'm sure I will enjoy shooting it....
