  1. What picture? Agreed what picture???
  2. i just bought a weihrauch silencer for my parker and hale phoenix and its the best forty quid ive ever spent! i tried out the p and h silencer and the logun one in the gun shop and they couldnt even come close to the weihrauch! zee germans have vays of making you silent! I'm with you all the way with the Weirauch silencers hyperion not only do they work well but the make my pistol look like an assassins tool, which for me customising everything I own makes me smile . They say that look are not everything but when you combine looks and functionality together you just can't beat it
  3. Exmouth Devon just read undeneath my avatar
  4. Deja vu for me I was only talking to my neighbor yesterday about not seeing myxi for sometime I hope it don't make it's way to Devon. I also enjoyed the read too Andy
  5. Those silencers look fantastic portland Jon I bet one would make my King Ratcher even more silent? I'm also intrigued by the thought of an air stripper, can you make them for the King Ratcher?
  6. A lot of people here swear by the Weirauch silencer for the ability to silence any gun really well due to that German engineering which is excellent. I actually use one on my Sheridan CO2 pistol and I can not hear anything from the muzzle at 7-10 yards. If anyone knows the Sheridan pistol well then you'll all know that un-silenced it sounds like a bullet hangun..
  7. f*****g hell Timelord! We should all jack it in then! LOL!!!!
  8. We are all still guessing here so your best bet is to walk into you local police station and ask. Or seek advice from a solicitor, if this is too much trouble then go to the public library and look in the law books for Ireland there. The Internet is full of bulls**t opinions and even a google search does not reveal much. The layman on the street and or behind his keyboard/mouse and screen, unless he or she is legally trained, will be as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike in trying to find the correct answer for you.....
  9. yeh any airgun in ireland needs a firearms licence as far as i know.what would ye recommend for mags and rats at say 20 yards .177/ .20/ .22/ all of these calibers would be suitable to take out magpies, rats and rabbits
  10. I used to live in Kent 18 months ago to be precise and the Romney Marsh has loads of rabbits etc to have a pop at, the farmers are very approacable in that part of the county. So your best bet is take yourself out for a walk early in the mornings and try to talk to the farmers/landowners etc and see if they would like a bit of free pest control I mean what have you got to lose?
  11. Have a look here>> http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/archive/ind...p/t-199023.html
  12. Don't quote me on this guys, but I'm assuming that Irish law will be the same as UK law as it is after all part of the United Kindom. So if this is the case then 12ft/lb will be the legal limit (anything beyong this will require an FAC). Caliber choice for your purpose is entirely up to you with .177/.20/.22 being the air gun choice, not forgetting .25 either...
  13. All I can say is WOW!!!!! You have a very serious collection there
  14. Here's my King Ratcatcher as a finished project fully kitted out
  15. I'm really impressed with this scope for the small price paid the optics are very good for the money, and I'd recommend these scopes to anyone on a tight budget. They are full multi coated and don't seem to display any chromatic abberation at full magnification...
  16. I've just treated it to a new scope, a JSR 3-9x50 illuminated RGB reticle for £64.95 also re-arranged the gun lamp and laser too. The laser was moved a few days ago so when changing the scope over, I zeroed it all in with the laser and comfirmed this with 1 shot
  17. Very nice toy you have there Rabbit Killer I can see your gonna have some real stealth fun with that new addition to your artillery
  18. If you stick with the 25-35 yard kill zone and head shots on rabbits then the King Ratcher will do the job. The rifle itself cost me £155 the silencer cost £36, the gunlamp cost about £9, green laser cost about £21 and the trigger shoe was £10. So the grand total was £231 without food = pellets....
  19. Cracking looking peice of kit Timelord . all credit to you mate you've done your homework and come up with a stunner ... Jasper Thank you Jasper65 your compliment is much appreciated. I always strive to make something unique and most of all functional, I suppose I'm just reflecting my individual and single minded personality in my pet projects. I picture something in my mind and then I go ahead and make it possible. The ratty has been a pleasure to customise and I know that I'll always do much the same with all airguns I ever own
  20. No problem John thanks for your response, if anyone else reckognises the above silencer please post it here
  21. Nice Ratty can you tell me what silencer and adapter you had there please?
  22. Nice Ratty can you tell me what silencer and adapter you had there please?
  23. Here's the links for the lasers I get and use... http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13136 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2588 But browse the whole section of gun stuff here>> http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.914 Cheers mate! Will that laser fit straight on the eb22 or will it need different mounts? If your talking about the red laser then it will fit onto the EB22 just fine but the green laser will need another bracket/mount to fit it. On the site I've linked you will probably have various mounts to use. I fit my green on my King Ratca
  24. I use a green laser on rats with excellent results reds are ok but not as visible in the daytime....
