  1. Great reading bigdave911 Now get to uni before your girlfriend gets the rolling pin out on you
  2. In the UK we must keep our shot guns and firearms in a steel police aproved case, they must be sleeved and unloaded at all times in transit until you reach your shooting permission. Air rifles that reach over 12ft/lb come into the firearms category and the laws are much more strict. Hand guns are banned fullstop due to some nutter in Scotland (Dunblane) shooting kids up in a playground As for air rifles well as long as kids with hoodies and baseball caps don't keep taking them out on the streets to impress their friends and shooting the local moggy (cat), then we should be able to continue i
  3. Blame the French for the mixy
  4. So can we over here (as long as the gun is sleeved) in the UK as long as we have paper work for the shot gun and permission on the land we are about to shoot upon
  5. Thanks for chiming in there Canada and also being from Canada you suffer more politically correct Legislation than most of us ..
  6. Well most if not all companies will take your money via the Internet or in a shop and I suppose it's down to you in the sense that you are prepared to lose your money if it gets seized by customs. I've brought loads of naughty things off the Internet and I'm sure that others here have too. I won't condone what you may be about to do, but if you feel the risk is worth it the good luck mate
  7. After 9 11 and the tight gun laws in this country you'll be very lucky if your request is granted
  8. In short the answer will be NO unless you are a licensed gun smith/dealer etc. If you are not one of these then go to your gun shop and pop the question to them
  9. No problem buddy I'm glad that I've been of some help to you
  10. £30 that is STEEP!!!! the link I provided is for $43.88 (£1 = $1.83) if you do the maths you'll be quids in. Ebay will hit you for shipping charges on top vs free shipping from deal extreme. Ebay sellers buy their stuff from deal extreme wholesale to punt out on the bay. So why go to the oil rag when you can go to the engine
  11. I will add that all the info on both guns will be those threads in my previous post...
  12. Well the King Ratcatcher is all standard doing 10ft/lb (which will do rabbits at 25 yards). The whole project cost me about £250. Now the pistol is a little mean machine and cost me about £170 to do up to the standard. I've posted a review of my Ratty HERE and shown off what the pistol can do to magpies and crows HERE Have a good read and post in those threads so not to clutter up the forum and server etc
  13. He didn't mention a price Liam but I'll find out when he gets back from holiday. I will add that he runs a gun shop in Exeter so the rifle you get (if he's still selling it and you want it) will be in tip top condition, I do know that he has not put many shots through it
  14. Give it a week or so because my mate has a .177 s200 up for sale and if he still wants to sell it I'll post it here
  15. you are right me old mate but these little bleeders down here are a nightmare thats why i wonderd about this gear i could pour it in a location where i want em and plot up and start twacking but the minute you get any where near there gone noise or no noise Well if you do try it then let us all know if it's worth the money on the most cunning of rabbits
  16. It's actually a 60mw green laser rather than red laser that I use on it, and I got it from HERE. Scroll down that page and you'll see my review on it too
  17. No worries Freddy But now I've seen that crap footage with the worst film quality I've ever seen in my life, I can totally understand why you was laughing so much
  18. I have a good bipod that easily fits to my King Ratcatcher from HERE and it works a treat so I'm sure your daughter will appreciate it
  19. Thanks........the stock is from my s510, so its ok to use a grey primer on the bare wood, was going to put about 4 to 5 coats of this on and rubbing down between coats and then spray black 5 coats with rubbing between coats and then using the varnish you recommended.Where do you get the matt varnish? I would have a look in B&Q for that sort of thing although I'm unsure if they do a spray version so buy the best like cuprinol quik dry etc. If you can't find a spray version then you could invest in a modelling type airbrush system to spray it. It sounds like you are good with painting et
