  1. That's a very cute puppy you have there and I love the liver colored markings too
  2. WOW £40 is a lot of money IMO, I have a membership of Devon and Cornwall shooting association and this costs me £10 per year. With this I also get permission on acres and acres of land from country estates to farms now that's value for money Another bonus with this is one of the pubs have a shooting range for pellet and live rounds as well all fully licenced and insured. The membership also insures me for up to £5million in case of any mishaps, now I'd pay more if they so wished me to so for £10 I'm a happy chappy
  3. Nice knife but still very expensive and cumbersome. Fantasy knives only have one place ie in a display cabinet or something like that. They a really designed for killing and no good in the field as you can't fold it up and put it in your pocket, I'm sure PC plod would gladly put the handcuffs on you for carrying that about, whereas if you have a folding knife and a genuine purpose for it's use at the time PC plod stops you, then you are more likely to get friendly advice from he or she and be sent on your way
  4. If the 13 year old in question is serious about a gun then why not go PCP like a falcon light hunter for instance, these a very light to carry about.
  5. Now that's what I call dedication to the sport
  6. I know exactly how you feel as I'm in the same boat with my Shar-Pei puppy and they sure do keep you busy.. OK.... if it isn't a Labrador or Springer I can tend to get a bit lost with dogs...so what is that, how big does it get and what on earth do you do with it??? It's a Shar-Pei the rarest breed on the planet, they come from China and were used for hunting, guarding and fighting in China. They will grow to about 2-3 foot tall and will weigh in at 25-30KG on average. She cost me £900 to buy so not just anyone can afford them, there is a code of ethics that comes with such a
  7. have you got shares in the company or something?! to be honest, with knives you usually get what you pay for...i used to buy cheap knives. only thing was,i spent more time sharpening them than using them! i have a colt ridgerunner now,had it a while and not sharpened it yet.still sharp as a razor. I can tell you first hand that these knives are rock solid and very sharp but if you like import tax and VAT added to buy the same or similar in the UK be my guest This company has never let me down yet and if you buy anything from them you won't regret it... No I don't have shares

  9. YUM YUM Hyperion that sounds tasty I'm also partial to pigeon curry just marinade the meat for a few hours first then pan fry it. Afterwards add your curry and simmer for about 10 mins. Boil your rice and dinner is served
  10. I know exactly how you feel as I'm in the same boat with my Shar-Pei puppy and they sure do keep you busy..

  12. Maybe use night vision kit instead of the lamp
  13. I use one of THESE HERE and it knocks spots off my 12volt Deben 100m Tactical lamp, I've made my own red filter from heat resistant glass because this thing is so powerful it can melt plastic in seconds

  16. Welcome to the forum sonny.t and I must say wise choice in rifle. I had a MK1 12/200 .20caliber 10 years ago and I absolutely loved it I'm soon getting the Theoben S-TYPE in .177 and all I can say is Theoben knock spots off all Air Arms BSA's etc etc. I hope you have as much fun with your Theoben as I did, put your feet up read all the pinned threads and enjoy your stay here
  17. I can agree with that too my King Ratcatcher is small too, and I only use the bipod for target shooting and zeroing the scope. In the field the extra weight puts the gun off balance by making it front heavy...
  18. I use the Dragon claw bipod from JSR HERE
