  1. I wish I could go out lamping tonight but I've had my orders from the Mrs that we have to go to her mothers house for dinner, I know what I'd rather be doing and it's definately hob nobbing with the in laws Good luck Liam and as jbswildlife says "don't forget your camera"
  2. A lengthy read but very informative, nice find celticwar
  3. I couldn't agree with you more Steve well said
  4. I would imagine they done the off pretty sharpish considering they were holding a rim fire. Still if they have no permission then it's bang out of order to commit armed tresspass and also F**K up your night out too. I guess you'll have to settle for a fews cans and the computer tonight...
  5. Try THIS it knocks spots of my Deben 12volt tactical tracer and only £9 in English money free delivery all inclusive...... I've had one of these for a while. It lights out further than I will shoot, so I get an idea of who is out there waiting for me, but it's not what I would call bright. I've also found that I get too much reflection from my moderator which messes with the scope (even after I taped it up with some Real Tree stuff), so I've slung it it below the mod and that seems to be the best set up (even if it does load the weight exactly where I don't want it). I bought on
  6. Sounds like too much lube you are only supposed to use 1-2 drops in a tin of pellets. But it might be worth getting your chrongraph double checked just in case
  7. That's a healthy bag you've gathered there I absolutely love that profile stock you have on your Rapid 17 too. You just don't see many profile stocks anymore and those that have them are the lucky ones as Theoben don't make them anymore....
  8. 10 years as a Staff sergeant did not make me popular in my regiment LOL!! so I don't know why you'd think I'm popular with the boys unless your inclined that way

  11. Try THIS it knocks spots of my Deben 12volt tactical tracer and only £9 in English money free delivery all inclusive...... Ordered the other day on Timelords recommendation......looks good and for £9 deliverd you cant go wrong. Timelord - how easy is it to mount? On the site I show look at the main section for guns & lasers there are plenty of brackets. The torch only needs a 1 inch mount. The mount that comes with it is a Weaver mount. So I suggest THIS THIS or THIS but have a look around and see if there are any other mounts that suit your needs

  13. Wish I could mate. R b o LOL!! What have you been told about the cooking sherry
  14. If it wobbles hold the gun steady
  15. I take you love your mum loads LOL!!!
  16. That damn so called credit crunch has bitten the scrap industry It seems that the only thing metal that has held it's value is gold/platinum. Somehow I don't think that the pellet industry will drop it's prices now they've raised them, because if they did then they'd have to match it up to the inflation rate right now. Don't forget that our finest pellets have to be made to an exact tolerance for what we need. This does not include the things like man power and tooling up to keep this industry afloat, I have all 3 calibers and noticed that .20 is the hardest to find and can cost a little
  17. Donny switched me on today about the AWT mod for my S-TYPE, have you got any pictures of this silencer ukhunter??
  18. Save up for a PCP will.f11
  19. Most definatley Jasper these scopes look the business and I'm more leaning towards the HK4012 6-24x56 SR 12 at £269. I know that Hawke are excellent scopes for light gathering in low light conditions and lamping use too
  20. LOL!!! Small world aye mate maybe I'll shoot you a PM in 3 years time
  21. LOL!!! No problem donny I see where you are coming from, I'm sure I'll be very happy with my S-TYPE when it arrives, and after the 3 year warranty is up I could probably have Ben Taylor to tune it up
  22. If and when I upgrade my scope on my S-TYPE then as I said it will have a 30mm tube for more light gathering and sniper style turrets just like the JSR's. It must have an illuminated reticle and a side parallax system. I was surfing about and came across Hawkes latest scope THE HAWKE SIDEWINDER 30 It ticks all the boxes for me and the price for such a scope is pretty good too. Once you've had a look at the link above please tell me what you think
  23. Probably the Rapid Mk1...it has a lot of history and is rugged and reliable!!! But the youngsters may well say the S Type!! ...sorry Mr Daystate (even though I used to have a Huntsman), you may like to consider yourself the "inventor" of the modern PCP but....!!! I agree the Mk 1 is a fantastic bit of kit as I used to own one, I hope you don't put me in the catagory of the younsters at 39 years old I'm older than most and younger than some here . But when my S-TYPE arrives I will be able to give a good comparison between both rifles So maybe I'll be able to add some feedba
  24. i got it cause its got top dollar lenses in it simmons aetec good luck with the s type you wont be dissapointed mate When I had my MK I 12/200 Theoben I used to have a Simmons 3.5-10x50 Whitetail classic so I know the quality of the Simmons lenses only too well. I will say that these JSR's are almost on par in lens quality compared to the Simmons scopes Thanks for the reaasurance on the S-TYPE too I'm totally over the moon now it's ordered, and I know it's gonna shoot like a dream as do all Theobens. I've just finished fitting a steel gun cabinet in the house so it can be locked awa
