    if you want the battery to last longer get a lower wattage bulb , but that will obviously be dimmer . the details of the bulb should be printed on the glass . its not the fact that its halogen thats using your battery its the wattage of the lamp.

    ive used cp21(fish) and 24(lamb) mainly to stop her being bored with one food only and found it to be a very good dry feed . plenty of protien and plenty of fat ,i run the terriers on that'l do with no probs , but the cheaper non hypo allergenic types proteins are cereal based and can cause allergies in some dogs

    same goes for the gun barrels , ive often sat opposite a mate and seen the barrels flashing in the sun .

    trouble is in the hot weather the remains will attract flies and go off quickly , best to chop up and refrigerate the bits . if you imagine the size of the gut on such a small ferret it dosnt take much to fill them up , trial and error is the key . feed on a morning and then try again at lunch then again at tea time you will soon know if they are hungry . you can also use this situation to your advantage by handfeeding the small amounts to get them used to your fingers and being handled . if they are still hungry just up your quantity or feed more often and as they grow they will obviously nee

    dont know what it could be ..... but barbacide is flammable and is blue .... and it kills mange but dont think a vet would use it had a look at barbacide and it certainly looks like it and the base chemicals have wide ranging uses including a leave on skin antiseptic , nothing would surprise me with my vet!!

    my vet pours a blue liquid down the back of the dog and tells me not to light a fag near it(looks like blue wkd) ?? any ideas as to what it is ? hes a grumpy old farm vet and mumbles alot so ive never understood what it is when he tells me or dared to ask him to repeat himself.

    mine is the same , just had her first full season and now has the area swollen around the nipples same as yours . there was a thread recently with some advice on suppliments to bring them out with varying results , but im just letting it run its course at the moment . shes about 11mnths saluki cross

    at 1amp per hour the 14a battery will last 14hrs and the 22a batt will last 22hrs , your 100w lamp uses just over 8a per hr . so your 14ah batt will last for 1.6 hrs of constant use and your 22ah will last 2.6 hrs of constant use . based on a 12v set up

    ive got the same issue , dont know if its just more obvious because of the colour but if you come up with a solution let me know . atb

    looking good , a tip to stop the wood against the hedge rotting is some plastic sheeting to separate the two . i had an issue with it always being damp where the timber meets the hedge and shortening the life of the wood.

    dont want to worry you , but i had one that did this after the first run on a night out . gave up that night immediately and saw no ill effects until we went lamping the next week when it got much worse , i had to carry the dog back to the truck and after we got home she ate and drank . i stayed up for a bit to keep an eye on her as her behavior was slightly odd , after an hour she started to fit and didnt recover , vet said it was a brain tumor . hope yours is not like mine

    try the cabelas web site they do a budget one called cyclops , all in with a red filter delivered from the us for around £30 . very good for the money

    only caught the last ten mins of the programme , but they were getting among the action . it looked ok and the bangers kept my interest when the action slowed
