Hi MY name is Ray Smith named after my father the original owner of smithy (hence the name).After reading a book a couple of weeks back on patterdales I was very surprised how other people had taken the glory for a dog that was worked by my dad,I will be speaking to him over the next couple of weeks and hopefully be able to give a more detailed account of smithy's early career.
