I seem to have a reputation for telling it straight... It's SMK...It's Co2.....It's a TOY! If you want to play in the back garden then it will be fun for a few days! I totally agree matey and anything that is under £100 claims to be powerfull at about 10ft lb's has got to be worth staying away from unless you want to just plink around at 25 yards with tin cans! the full power rifles are rated to 12ft Lbs to give you an idea! spend at least twice this for a second had gun and you won't have to do the job again for a long time! i totally agree with this statement permission is very hard to come by and easy to loose................. my doggin pals consist of a very small close knit circle of friends who share the same interest.... I dont agree with this comment personally but if that is what you want to do then thats your choice. Just dont offer it as advise to someone else as it could land someone in a world of trouble with the law and that is factual. I appreciate how fustrating it is being told what we can and cant do and it is a real nightmare finding somewhere to shoot live quarry. I think this guy speaks alot of sence and the first two shooting positions are very good the third position! well its nothing to carry a shooting stick with you! It's just a simple flick and the stick is ready. Personally I wouldn't take a free standing shot like that at live quarry. Its just not worth it and in my opinion there is no need if I go shooting with my air rifle I simply always carry a stick. I use an Air arms TX200 HC and if I were to position my foregrip that close to my body the scope would be wondering all over the place. The forward weight of my gun+scope+lamp and clothing

Try the Southern Border Terrier Club I believe there are some stud dogs advertised on there but more show than working! if you want a stud from working stock then Cumbrian breeders have a very good proven breed line. My father in law has been a very well respected Terrier man all his life and is somewhat famous for his Terriers. He also has some bloody good contacts. My Bitch came from shap and the breeder is well respected and can be found attending Lowther every year. His terriers are well proven at many hunts. Good luck

I have a border that loves to go to ground just bloody hard work diggin her out she did have one on top the other week middle of the day!! caught up with her and she had done the fox. It was dead by the time i got to her! 10 - 15 mins! She has also dispatched other large ish quarry but I wont go into that now!! She is a great bitch, Loyal - loveable and great with children - people and other dogs but heck could she work! I dont work her properly but I could if I wanted she's already proved that. Hi all, I am a new user to this site and just wanted to introduce myself I am based in Devon. I love shooting - hunting - fishing and anything that involves terriers particularly border terriers and my second home the fells in Cumbria is where I enjoy being out on top with the hounds in amongst it all.
