  1. i knw what you mean mate but the wires went right at the top of the handle near the switch erea and there was no way you could get it 2 so we cut the handle all the way up 2 gwt 2 the problem what a pike of shit these lamps are eceppt for when they are working No need to cut it, just drill the rivet out which holds the bulb holder in, nemove the nut on the switch and all of the wireing will come out.
  2. Lightforce Striker/Blitz for me, spend 20 minutes rewireing it and your away. alot better beam than the clulite. With a 50w bulb fitted you get just aslong lamping as you would with a clulite and a beam which is twice as good.
  3. I'm sure they use a 100 watt xenon bulb as standard.
  4. Thats some serious asteroids
  5. Mine arrived today, most months its a good read. :thumbs-up:
  6. Welldone roybo, great to see them catch early on isnt it.
  7. What are you wanting to use it for?? rifle or lurcher?? IMO they are good for calling fox in which are lamp shy. the only drawback is that they eat batteries for fun, and at £2.50 a pop, they arent cheap to run.
  8. Can't beat scarpa for a quality boot
  9. Drontal plus everytime for my dogs. At less than £2 a throw is it worth the risk??
  10. Did he line many bitches?? He sounds like he would have put that little extra into lurcher breeding.
  11. WE SHOULDN,T FORGET THE PASTORAL AND OTHER TERRIER BLOOD IN LURCHERS ARE STILL GOING STRONG AND WHERE THE ORIGINAL FOUNDATION OF LURCHER BREEDING.REGARDS COLLIE JOHN. :11: So what about Lord Orford, did he not put bull into greyhounds?? It must have been fashoinable then aswell.

  14. Bass off south end or Piel island at the moment. Just don't go out after dark you've been warned :11:
  15. As far as I know Diclofenac is not an antibioyic, I am sure its an anti inflammatory.
  16. Put a sun shade on your scope, that will solve it.
  17. 70 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips over 27 grains of Vit N133 with Fed match Primers. Bullets seated into lands till they leave a square mark on bullet. Brass is fire formed Lapua .220 Russian, necked up to 6mm, neck turned to .268 with bullet seated. Primer pockets and flash holes uniformed, time consuming but you only do it once.
  18. A few pics for the VLS appreciation society rifle without moderator fitted rifle with moderator fitted Remington Bolt with Sako extractor fitted single shot follower fitted in magazine well The Holy Grail - 6PPC USA loaded case
  19. Foxshot, if I were you i would get a 6ppc sako extractor fitted to your rem 700 bolt, and fit a border 6ppc usa, barrel at 20 - 22" long. My own rifle started life as a .223 rem VLS, I put 1000 ish rounds through it and it was still accurate untill I pulled the extractor out of the bolt face. At this point I got a sako extractor fitted and got the action blueprinted and a border 6ppc usa barrel fitted and the action pillar bedded into the vls stock. The 6PPC is a superb round and as others have said, seeing is beleiving. The beauty of the 6PPC USA is that you can either use Sako 6PPC loaded
  20. I use a Harrell to throw all my powder and find it as accurate as using scales. Using Vit 133 in PPC I throw directly into the case, with no problems at all, but i think you could spoon it into a PPC case and still shoot tiny groups. Excellent peice of kit, a masterpeice to look at aswell :thumbs-up:
  21. It wasnt the backstop which bothered me, it was the hedge which you shoot over. I realise photos do not do landscapes justice sometimes, so I will take your word for it that all shooting is safe, I never set out to start any ill feeling and appologise if any has been caused. I shoot a blueprinted Rem 700 action, border 6PPC barrel with .270 neck, T8 moderator and all pillar bedded into a lamimate stock. The load I use is 70 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip over 28.5 grains of Vit N133 and federal match primers. Furthest shots - Crow 450 yards, rabbit 420 yards and fox 300 yards.
  22. If that is the target in the distance I can see, that doesnt look like a safe shot. JMHO
  23. Does anybody know if there is anything which can be done with a sprung toe, it is on a back foot and doesnt seem to bother the dog at the moment, but I think it may cause trouble, come the start of the season and would like to be prepared. Any help or opinions would be much appreciated.
