  1. Due to a large litter gunpack has forsale genuine fell/foxhound pups, NO timewasters or peddlers. Pups are in Cumbria. PM for further details.
  2. I have one here, it works ok for 'photographing' crows and magpies, but for calling foxes I think you would be better served with a mouth call at a fraction of the price. JMO some may have a different opinion.
  3. to be honest i couldnt say my [bANNED TEXT] has one and he uses it one hell of a lot for mincing skinned quail etc rabbits are a different ball game i know id be lying if i said differently i just thought id put the link up as its a good un maybe theres someone else on the foum has one the same and cud answer ur question, for the money its a good tool by any standards Cheers mate, a good honest answer I just dont want to lay out £250 to have it throw the towel in a month later.
  4. Garypco, Do you think that mincer will be upto the job on a regular basis?? Wont be needing the mould roy, these pot lickers I have could'nt catch a rabbit in a phone box
  5. Electric Mincer wanted, must be able to mince rabbits, bones and all on a regular basis. Single phase industrial type would be ideal. Cheers in advance.
  6. They don't sound like hunters to me, just a bunch of wankers, who I would'nt give the time of day. unfortunately you get these people in any sport.
  7. I take it for that kind of money it is gen 2 or 3, I've got a gen 1 monocular and I've found it ok for calling foxes in, but I wouldnt want to shoot one with that kind of vision.
  8. I use redmills tracker (20%) mixed with a handfull of whatver meat I can get hold of. I've found by feeding redmills I can reduce the amount of dry food needed, compared to other dry feeds which were 20% protein.
  9. they should come out with a cleaning rod, go easy and don't rush into anything, you could end up doing damage to the barrel.
  10. Cracking job, how much do you charge per hour??
  11. The clulites are a better made lamp, but for running a lurcher at anything other than rabbits I'd buy a lightforce every time and rewire it straight away. For beam quality nothing beats a lightforce. JMO
  12. Any %, aslong as they are fast enough to catch and dont mind the sharp end
  13. 120 dogs could have been mostly pups
  14. IMO nothing wrong with shooting birds with a rifle, perfectly good ferret food or pest control. For the number of shots we have in a morning (5 or 6) using a .223 isnt going to break the bank at around 25p a round is it??
  15. A couple of pic's of a pigeon shot by my mate with a .223 BRNO at 192yds and a black one at 150yds ish
  16. Whats your load snapshot?? what rifle are you using??
  17. If you dont already, I would try reloading first. easiest way to shrink those groups consistently.
  18. HS Precision synthetic stock in as new condition to fit Remington 700 short action, £150 including postage OVNO with aluminium bedding block and sling swivels in a grey/black fleck finish PM for more information
  19. If anybody would like the contact details please PM me and I will pass the details on, as HBG is having problems with his internet connection.
  20. I dont know KX250F's, but I'm guessing it has an automatic decompressor and the lever on the handlebars is for the hot start. it could be that the hot start is stuck itself, inside the carb. I'm only throwing ideas around, without seeing it I cant say for sure.
  21. Check that it is the cable first, it should be easy to see if the cable is sticking for either the hot start or the de-compressor. Make sure there is some free play in the de-compression cable/ lever other wise you are lowering the compression all of the time. if the hot start is sticking it will be letting more air through than is required, ussually when they cough and fart it is due to too much air in the fuel mixture. if the cable is not running free in the outer cable, take it off and hang it up, tape the top end to form a funnel and spray a pool of wd 40 or similar into the funnel an
  22. Sounds like the auto decompression cable is stuck, or the hot start cable is stuck. do you hae a decompression lever on your handlebars, if you do this should have some slack in it. I had a couple of WR's a few years ago. Worth looking at...if nothing else
