    Cracking reply ive ran dogs 20 years now and had plenty and still have single handed dogs' but if im on a good night out id double up firstly both dogs keeping fit getting a run secondly greater chance of a catch and thirdly my single handed dogs dont have to prove nothing i know they do the job themselves Think some of you are confused with running doubled up, their are two (or more) ways of doubling up - Option 1. Run 2 single handed dogs together, both dogs are trying their best to catch that fox. Therefore catch rate increases. Option 2. Run a single handed dog with a doubled up dog

    Is it right that a dog used for retreiving foxes should be wormed regular for lung worm?? Found this, thought it may be of interest - http://www.lungworm.co.uk/scripts/pages/en/home.php If I remember right, panacur treats lung worm.

    I used to have a bitch that had a knocked up middle toe on her back foot and after an initial 6 weeks rest the toe was ok, I just kept the nail short. I dare say if it had been an outside toe the problem could have been worse.

    Plenty of good dogs get sold on, circumstances change, people loose interest or someone makes them an offer they can't refuse. Not everyones out to rip you off.

    I have the Tay muckboots, bought from uttings.com, they are comfortable and warm (a bit too warm in summer). I havent worn mine much but I dont think they will stand up to barbed wire very well for your use hbg.

    Not quite what your after but might give you some ideas. 25 x 25 stainless steel box section and mesh frame with white plastic sheet from a double glazing supplier riveted onto it. I just disinfect it and hose it down when it starts stinking.

    Ive experience of welsh hound x springers which came from carmarthen, they didnt throw even, the 3 I seen 2 were like big springers, one was like a pure welsh hound. Not my cup of tea, not worth the effort, better off with a beagle over it imo if you want to bring the size down.

    The pups are advertised on behalf of the lad with the greyhound, who is keeping a pup for himself.

    I used to have an M reg 2.7td terrano, same as a maverick, had no trouble at all with it and was capable off road with BF Goodrich all-terrains on. Deisel engines have a cam chain instead of a belt, so one less thing to change or go wrong, I dont think the petrol engines were up to much though.JMO

    As the title really, the mk1 collar is knackered and I've heard a mk3 collar will work with the mk1 receiver. Has anyone had experience with this set up??

    my halfx from this line is red and has a red nose, can you really tell what line the bull was from by the colour of the dogs nose though?? tbh I couldnt care less.

    I have a 9 month old pup from the remus' litter sister to the dam's litter brother, I would expect these pups will turn out much the same. My pup, 26" ats there are a few lads on here have litter mates to my pup, they all seem to be very keen and starting well.
