  1. You have an HW95 that doesn't like Superdomes of Accupells? That's unheard of! My .22 '95 prefers those two particular pellets over everything.
  2. Nice bag Shay, the pictures look good mate. As Gary said, the video goes black 34 seconds in though. Sam
  3. Nice one Shay, very gentlemanly pal! Great shooting both of you. Good write up and photos, look forward to the next one!
  4. Either of the scopes that Darren posted will suit you fine buddy.
  5. Good on you Millsy mate, glad to hear it. Look forward to seeing some pictures of your new rifle!
  6. Doesn't bother me pal, just saying it before someone else does!
  7. This has been done to death on here buddy, do a seach, and you'll find out why it's not a good idea. *edited to add, this post should really be in the technical section mate.
  8. I'll come over for a night's shooting with you mate!
  9. Great going Mikey pal. The adjustable cheek piece looks the business too!
  10. Surely none threatening Freedom of speach prevails? there was no seriouse threats or aggresion in the topic to cause alarm. most was Disagreements from both party's and Banter , I have heard worse said in the school playground . Yeah, so stop being such a bitch.* *thats a joke
  11. That's a hell of an offer for a prize!
  12. As we say all the time Darryl mate, it's not about big bags! Being out is the thing that we all enjoy so much, so good on you for getting out!
  13. Sounds like you need a hand mate!
  14. No, you're not right at all. It's nothing to do with the calibre; just the muzzle velocity. You need an FAC for anything above 12ft lbs, regardless of it's calibre.
  15. Don't think you'll go too wrong with a Rapid in any calibre mate.
  16. Have a slut point for that Simon mate, well put. I did just type a paragraph about education and the standards of literacy on this forum, but I deleted it for fear of offending people, which isn't my intention at all.
  17. For me, the funniest thing about all of this is that this scamming b*****d just came on and welcomed himself? What the hell? Who does something like that?
  18. Belting good session that boys. Top photos and write up Davy, nice one!
  19. Great write up mate, and as the others have said - what an amazing piece of land to have to shoot over. Sad to hear that you're starting to see mixy - my permissions appear to be clear of it for now (touch wood), although I've seen one or two when I've been out and about with the pup. Do you still use them for dog food? And I'll say it again, your Prosport is an absolute beauty.
  20. Thanks everyone. Wurz, I know how you feel about feeding the soul mate. If I'd been out with my R10, I'd have felt disappointed with just the one in the bag, but as it was, I couldn't stop myself smiling for most of the day. I can't see myself using the '95 as my first choice from now on, but I'll be sure that I don't leave it so long before I get it out again! Shay, all good here thanks mate - I just realised I never got back to you about the DR5. I'll PM you as soon as I finish typing this mate. Simon, thanks for that info. Managed to pick the SR12 up for £50 on ebay and it was
  21. Now then! I haven't had my HW95K out for a while, mostly due to needing a new scope. While my R10 was back at BSA last year I scoped it up with my Hawke 3-9x50 and dropped 4 or 5 collared doves in an hour or so, but since then, it's been pretty much left to it. I just invested in a Hawke SR12 6-18x44 AO for my R10, so finally was able to fit the other to my 95 on a more permanent basis. Spent a little while zeroing up on Wednesday, and this morning was able to get out to one of my permissions with it. Anyway, not much of a story to it, but I dropped one bunny with my first shot a
  22. Mary....?? Just leave it be now, I mean honestly, what's the point???? Pick the scab and it will never heal..... On a far more serious note however, do I risk another kebab tonight? a kebab a day keeps the doctor away Haha, if only. I went through a phase of fairly excessive chicken kebab consumption. To the point that when I ran into a mate I've not seen in ages one of the first things he said was "Still eating a lot of kebabs?". Anyway, Andy, don't risk it this late in the week mate. Too much chance of any potentially side effects impacting on the weekend
