    Theres a great book (and a few videos on youtube) by David Peightal called Bobcat Dog. It seems that even dedicated cat hunters very rarely get to see the cats without the help of specialist cat hunting dogs. Hell of a good read for anyone who likes hunting!

    I went out one evening end of last summer -middle of nowhere to watch a moonrise (sad i know lol) There were people everywhere chairs binos etc hard to find a spot to park! Couldn't believe how popular it was.

    Set this one today Sich1 a ltl acorn trail cam- fairly sure there's something going to show up on it! Might be a while before i pick it up though.I've another two out atm in similar spots- be great to get some fox pics in the snow. Great idea with the 2.5 a 12 v battery.

    You like your fishing then! lol My favorite rod by far was a telescopic fly rod, always handy in the back of the car.

    I remember one dark and windy day while crossing the mountains near the sacred spot (ice cream van) i came across some hobbits!

    Had it recently on a lurcher- not sure but might be hogweed? Blisters the skin of a dog pushing through cover.

    Any one who does a lot on rocks try out Hiax boots they're cheap enough (2nd hand army ones on ebay £35) and a damn site safer than any boot with vibram soles.

    I have a ainss 3g/4g sim card ip security camera- it works off a 12v car battery we set it up earlier up a tree on the edge of a field (cam hi app) been interesting watching a fox earlier wandering around under it. Cost £96
