I've been using a forest master (british make) 240 mains. 7 tonns force i think. Surprising how you think you can manage without one then after using one (and doing a days work in an hour) you wouldn't be without one. It reloads pretty much as fast as you can put logs on it 8 seconds i think. -
Every gamefair since seems a little disappointing after the Welsh. Full of characters- i can see Fenners there now with his hat full of badges at the terrier show and Mike Hooper (the china man lol) moaning at all the money everyone else must be making. Organised originally to raise money for nurses i think?

Unbelievable fine compared to the Traffic Cop type tv programs where they catch people driving -high drunk-no insurance danger to life etc etc and fine them £75 quid!

Dacia duster 4x4 are basic but stupidly cheap, great ground clearance too. Mine looked bashed when i bought it but worked fine for 5 years or so.

Great scenery there WVM and plenty of water, at least you didn't have to take a sink for the dishes! -
Surprising how cheap merino wool socks are on E Bay. I wore a merino wool base layer on a long walk yesterday (12 miles) . Baselayer was dry but my t shirt above it was soaked. Must be fantastic at wicking away moisture.

Always a good idea to hold on to something solid like a tree when your climbing about those crags! lol

The ferrets clocked some miles up in this, neighbour thought i had a tumble dryer in the back yard. Well worth having for keeping them busy.
