  7. Well you all probably read the bit of my last Sundays efforts at digging.Heres a few pics of the dig.If for any reason the last pic is deemed inappropriate feel free to remove it. half way down,it was an awkward dig, lots of roots and shale the unfortunate Klank, just after we found him It was a valient effort from him as he was still working 10-15 minutes before we reached him.I was delighted he worked so well on his first of the season, sadly it didnt last long before it turned to bitter dissapointment.Again hope it doesnt offend anyone.
  8. well snapshot you hit the jackpot there.I put up ''skining a white tailed deer'' into Google and a section on field dressing, skinning, butchering etc came up.same stuff just a smaller deer.If you need a hand eating it give me a bell,

I'll be forced to look for a pup from good working lines for earth work.Anyone has a litter coming up.I enquired about getting one in Brittain but by the time the cost and transport and such like is sorted I'm up to 400-500 euros,Too much for me I'm afraid, any GOOD lines being sold in Ireland.I will give it a good home with proper work any after sales arrangements are welcomed.I'm not looking for a pup for cheap but reasonable.Let me know if theres anything about please.

    Longnet pegs

MTD,do you just flex them with your hand to straighten or is there another method of doing this.I'm going to cut some soon now as its getting much colder lately.
  21. I retiled the kennels 2 years ago,I put non slip tiles on the floor.I keep 2 terriers together in one kennel but I have to say I'm sorry I did it now.I find the floor of the kennels wet at all times,no matter what I use on them.I used a floor squeege for a while and although it took most of the surface water off the floor they ripped easily on the tile edges.I wish I had left it concrete.A mate of mine has the state of the art kennels and recently put down old roof slate on the floor bedded in concrete. He swears by this saying the slate dries in no time even after hosing down the the slate.Any

  23. I was listening to it also Frank,a bunch of a holes, cruel idiots.Pullingcats out of trees and cats crawling back to their owners with their insides hanging out.mindless pricks. In fairness to one spca bloke he said any dog can be turned into a savage, its not the dogs but the owners thats the problem.
  24. Mk 3 is the dogs danglies,I use it all the time be it terriers or ferrets and can home in to 6 inches all the time. They're a great bit of kit.I am amazed when some say they cant use them, they're simple to use,and way better than the mk1.I got rid of my mk1 for the mk3 and have absolutely no regrets. But I was brought up the old ways, ferret bells and patience,so if the worst comes to the worst It doesnt phase me if the locator packs up,saying that, I wouldnt leave home without it.
  25. well people, this morning as I was going to work,I sat in my car waiting for the traffic lights to turn green. When out of nowhere a jeep ran straight into the rear of the car and pushed me straight into the car in front who in turn ran into the next one.I thought my spine had snapped in two.My car is completely wrecked,I was straight to the hospital and x rays and tests done, the conclusion is I have extensive bruising to the muscles on my back.I'm out of work for the next while and I cant believe any more can happen to me this week. The lady next door to me has died this morning at 7.30 from hea
