  5. well thats a new one on me,ive kept bull/russell for years in my past life and sounders they were not.plus i wouldnt use a staff on terriers, when bulls were worked regular i used english bull blood, seemed to put the ingriedients in the right order most of the time.i saw a few staff/terrier crosses and they were very hard work i thought.i had a lot of bull bred dogs over 15 years and they were basta**s for fighting, but they did work well, but sounders no way.they spent a lot of time in sick bay after a day out.

in this case where bull bred dogs are involved,if they start on the russell they'll finish with each other.Once they get started they will forget they were friends for years abd continue to fight with whatever they can get their teeth inti:ie namely each other.I have kept bulls and bull crosses for years and once their blood is up all bets are off and its a free for all.A bit of advice.....DONT DO IT,and I would be inclined to seperate the staff and bull cross too, just cause you got lucky this far doesnt mean it wont happen in the future....and when it does it will not be pretty, believe me.BEE

  22. Pictures Shanehound....arent you the smart one.I have seen the dam of the above mentioned pups at work,She is no slouch and lacks nothing in any department. The sire is a hell of a dog, even though hes pushing on now hes still well able to perform. It was an education to see these dogs run out on any game, big brave and unstopable when on their quarry.

    Can anyone

The holly stick is a fine lump of wood,5 ft long and green as you'd expect being freshly cut.The first question I ask is how long does it need to dry out?Should I de bark it?Its a bit knotty in 1 or 2 spots, whats the best way of eliminating these, would a rasp or an electric sander be best?I wait with great anticipation for the people on here that know the answers to these vital questions.
