  1. yeah guys sometimes i wonder myself .The sire I never saw but I was told he has taken lots of game .My mate is a dead straight guy and a close friend.I know hes truthfull in what he says. The dam is in Tipperary but for reasons I cant explain I cant enquire about the breeding. The info I need must come from my mate.Anyway next year I'll see if shes up to it or not.Salukixlad, your right your not being funny Nice dogs guys.looking forward to reading of your exploits with them next season.

  4. I have a 7 month old pure saluki bitch.I was given it as a pressie,I have no details as to its breeding but the lad that did give it to me is a serious dogman so I know theres something decent behind her.I had this stereotype picture of her growing up to be a stubborn ,patience sapping animal.NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.Shes very obedient and so far solid with livestock.I am more than pleased with her.I hope she makes a decent bitch and am looking forward to the season coming.Shes rock steady with the ferret but im taking it real slow with her at the moment but she knows whats hap
  5. thats the job, get her moving on that contraption, lol.
  6. Well Wexford Pa those activities are illegal allready so how could they make them illegal then?I was speaking to a Sinner and he admitted they were anti hunting but as an individual he wasnt, but thats not much good to anyone so I think you should approach you sinn feinn rep and ask again.I will not be voiting for them and hope others follow suit.I tried to get the local radio station to broach a member of the party and ask over air what their policy was on the matter and get it up for debate in the public domain but it hasnt happened.
  7. i agree,i drove to rosslare,+3hrs,got on the ferry and then drove 2+hrs to get my lurcher pup.on the way back i got into a spot of bother when the car broke down, only by the grace of god did an AA repair man turn up to have his lunch break in the same lay by i was stuck.after he repaired my car for free i might add(he refused money)and then proceeded to drive to the ferry and then drive home.A total of 31 hrs travelling.I wont even go into the cost of it all If you are really wanting something you'll travell anywhere for it I reckon.

  13. to be born devoid of the blessing of luck?I was driving about for 3 weeks with no tax on the car due to the fact that work was slow/stopped.Its been real bad work wise for a bit now.In the last few weeks i scraped together enough for 3 months tax and as we have along weekend here in Ireland,ie:bank holiday weekend.I expect the cops would be out in force trying to nab drink drivers, checking tax insurance etc.So yesterday I went to the motor tax office and taxed my car like a law abiding citizen would.I arrived at the car park outside the tax office but a security personell was on duty and was

  16. I used to collect sick and fallen sheep years ago and fed them to the dogs, they ate it for a few years no bother. The only bother was when 1 got jammed in the side entrance of the house and the neighbour came to see what was going on.She saw me siting on a dead sheep sweating like a marathon runner, funny at the time......NOT

EMO COURT game fair is advertised for the 3rd and the 4th of June. These 2 days fall on Wednesday and Thursday.I was stunned that its held mid week.Surely it would be better to hold it on a weekend i thought, better crowds etc.I take it this is correct?I was hoping to go to it but mid week is a queer one.
  20. very interesting post, good to see different opinions.no one is completely right or wrong.I still think at 6-12 weeks old though the dog can be persuaded to ignore the woolys MOST of the time.keep yer thoughts coming on this one, good to read other peoples comments.
