  7. I think you'll find 100 + years ago ,the sinn Fein deligates were very credible and very different in their commitment to the job ahead, unlike the money grabbing lot of today
  8. Sinn Féin members vote for strong regulation of hare coursing WWW.THEJOURNAL.IE The party also passed a series of motions on disability rights as well as votes on supporting community... Anything for a vote
  9. I'm governed by my kennel size ,which is 7ftx 7ft so I can't have a very large box as it will take up too much room ,the boxes are going to be 2.5 ft cubes,..they are in 3 ft boxes at the minute,so I'm just creating a little bit more space whilst having the boxes up off the ground....I've had a bulb blow on me one time so I prefer the tubes, and miles cheaper to run
  10. I may yet incorporate it into the plan ,I'll see what we do,...it's good to get pointers and opinions ,putting the heater at floor level could happen too
  11. I'm keeping the boxes on the tidy size ,30 inch cube....my kennels are 7 ft square ....I think the plan I have will work out ok
  12. I'm experimenting with a circular door ,as small as possible ,there will be an overlap on the top as I'm going to add a piece on the roof so they can sit out on them, which they do already
  13. Well, the boxes will be wrapped in a skin so I'm thinking the heat won't escape too much ,and once the sever cold is kept out it should work out ok,if not I will tweak it if necessary
  14. The thermostat is narrower than a pencil I'm informed,so it will/should run tight in the corner where the wall and ceiling meet,.. luckily with the dogs I have, none have ever chewed their boxes so I don't think it will be an issue
  15. Not an option as I've open front kennels ,most of the heat would be lost, and it's too much of an ordeal,I'm just refurbishing the existing old kennels
  16. My last b*****d of a terrier cost me a 1200 euro bill,he escaped through the roof after a storm and mangled a neighbours dog,3 operations later and I had to cover it all which is to be expected,...since he was mine lol...
  17. Lurchers for me,my terrier days are over thankfully lol
  18. Sorry ,I replied before I saw your post lol
  19. It will be,there's a probe that reads the temp inside the box, sends the info to the meter which automatically either switches the heater on or off accordingly...my son would explain it clearer but that's the basics of it anyway lol
  20. I'm closer to 61 ,so the least amount of effort for the maximum results is my pipe dream
  21. My young lads an engineer lol ( boasting I am not )..the thermostat will be outside in a sealed box with the probe running along the ceiling, coming in through a small predrilled hole,..the heater will be bolted/screwed to the ceiling with the cable going out through the back of the box, there won't be any thing to chew other than the heater,...which will be surrounded by a stainless steel cover perforated with holes ...he has it all worked out bless him lol
  22. Yeah,I've experienced the same thing,...I'm keeping on top of nothing in my decrepit state lol...litter free kennels ,that's my dream
  23. As I wrote ,I've had a lot of grief from wax paper and straw etc blocking the drains ,so I'm done with that, this way I believe is trouble free
