  3. That's me then pal, banned! I only stated that none of there dogs were capable of a day/ nights work and they only produced pups per public demand. Having said that I own one and am happy with her but wouldn't have another, that's all
  4. I joined a hancock lurcher page on face book, made what I thought was good honest comments and ended up blocked off the page due to this Catherine Elliot anyone else had the same problem? Must not like hearing the truth?

  6. a bulldog graft mate Thanks, Im tryinh out the Bulldog spear last season and this season so far. Its not bad.The head is a bit narrow but it gets the job done. Like the sandy Jill.Had a sandy Hob,he was a great worker.Died of old age.Have his daughter and bred a grandson to hold back this season.All albinos no sandy kits she belongs to my hunting partner he put 2 polecats together and she was the only one to come out sandy, he has 2 polecat sisters to her, there all making the grade.

Off out again this morning, the lack of rabbits on our way up the fell side to our choosen destination was slightly worrying, once we got the van in a suitable place the ferrets were collered up and gear was ready off we went waiting for the first mark of the morning, it wasn't long in coming so nets on and sandy Jill entered, it wasn't long before she had us our first couple in the bag onwards we went picking up a 2s and 3s as we went, it was slow going this morning and seemed to take a while to fill the first game carrier we got to the top of the fell amongst the limestone and got another m

Once again the polecat Jill was entered on soon for to work bolting one then all was silent so out with the locator, 2 ft down so the new bulldog graft was called into action reveling 2 rabbits in a stopend, she was still with one that soon bolted, she then showed a few times inside the shed before disappearing and making contact with rabbit number 5, the temp was getting up by dinner time so we called it a day with a total of 18 til next time cheers neil b

This morning saw the second trip of this season,on my way up the dark motorway well before daybreak had the lurcher abit more restless than normal, it wasn't until I felt something crawl onto my lap I knew why.... The ferrets had got out of there box so a quick stop on the hard shoulder to catch them up and get them boxed up,then normal service resumed. Once we got to our chosen destination we could see a few rabbits moving about so things looked good, as the sun rose we started our climb up the fell side waiting to either see a rabbit drop to ground or wait for the lurcher to mark an occupied

  17. If you put a ferret in always be prepared to dig them out what's the point in a ferret killing a rabbit then leaving it below ground, seems a pointless going out if you ask me
