  1. well b&t, then it will be like a battle field in here. Voon, send a PM to the admin of the forum. mybe your computer need a software upgrade. but do it soon, there is some nice lookin dog's in this thread. best regards.
  2. allison do you really mean it? i'm glad you(in UK) don't mix the apbt with the ancester working breeds you have there. i think you have gamer dog's than 60/70% of what call apbt of today(and the fault is in the mass production and reproduction of "cur" apbt's), i know that they aren't selected like the old days but for me weight pulling is not a method of selection by itself. Hard physical tests, prey tests(like wild boar and group bull herds or wild bulls, like the ones we use in bullfighting here in Iberian peninsula), stress test and sociability test could be a kind of method of selecti
  3. hello, b&t excellent pics and thread. thanks for all that posted great pictures of great dog's. for that issue about public forum, my pcs and etc, if you go to shows to show your dog it's frequently pictured by many fanciers. it's normal in all kind of shows. my humble opinion. now, the public forum and it's true but it's also a international forum (blabla.com) and maybe this forum is on a international server, them you can say what you want, show want you want but don't give them(antis) names, locations, etc. for the "complicated people", when anyone shares anything in this
  4. this one is from my country: but is a petbull, a sofa bullterrier. and the red nose issue, it's curious...
  5. thanks tiger, great hopes in them.
  6. yes waz, this was the male that i lost on the boar. boar - 2 dog's dog's - 1 female boar and 3 little ones the female and the little ones were sent to a specific area so they would grown. the male boar cutted up my apbt and one jack russel female. was killed 3 days later by a friend hunter with riffle. this dog did hog hunting, a sport called gameness(like agility but for apbt) and had the balanced temperament with every one. a true working beast and good friend. we had many hours on the field. i miss him very much. best regards
  7. ADAM R, in my country is prohibited to work on badgers. i don´t know why because the called "hunters" kill everything they get, even if this isn't the season for it. they fracking shoot first and see later. but it sure will work on badgers the bully that i posted. best regards
  8. this one was the best bully i ever saw working wild boars. this was from the breeder of my jagd. he only hunts foxes and wild boar. fidel (name of dog) was 3 years old and 18 kg in the picture. good drive and prey, it was fight crazy with another dog's bigger than him. it was a troublemaker! best regards
  9. this was my wild boar hunter, more a "grabber". He was 4 years when killed in a hunting accident. 27/30 kg (high season/holliday). RIP my good friend. best regards,

  16. i had the same problem here in portugal with all the working terriers. the only ones available from working stock was jagdterrier. good luck mate.
  17. i've one male pup with 9 months, they are hard and start very early. they are the kind of dog if you don´t give him game or hunt he will go alone and hunt anything. my dog started ratting 2 months ago, last week was the boar test that he succeded and at the end of the month we will go on the foxes. But anything that runs from him with fur or feathers is to kill. he is from a breeding german x Tcheck bloodlines but his ancestry only hunted fox and wild boar, i'm hoping to dig some nutria and the big black, white and grey next year. until then we will develop is working skills. he is couple
  18. the dog's that are in the pictures are very conditioned. but if is a show dog why is it conditioned like a gamedog? for a show breeder maintain a dog like those it will be hard work(for the breeder and pleasure for the dog). the first dog is in a good pitweight, it looks dehydrated for some of you guys but for me was perfect. there is dog's with more conditioning available in the internet. but please don't mix show with working dog's. these are show and weight pulling dog's but have they the working apbt temperament or abilities? the breeder selects the dog's from offspring how?
  19. Top terrierman i like your dog very much. stiff dog!!!
