i think the best advice is from skycat. time and patience, maybe learning more about dog behaviour... like the house tracy, are you selling? just kidding maybe if he asked before he cracked the pup it won't be so hard now. now he has to build up confidence on a pup that's afraid of him. please let them be pups until 8/10 months, behave like their parents, watch your female dogs when their are raising their pups in the first months. They teach them and us valuable things. best regards

A Few Pics From 'The Sporting Bull Terrier'
heshimus replied to Little Butch's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
hi steezy, good lookin' dog yo have there. best regards -
no cracks on pups, go out more often with him or keep it in a kennel. their are smart and inteligent and if well bred by their mothers they will be nice, happy and clean pups. you must show the pup the rotine, the same old schedule for making the piss and the shit at proper time. rubbing pups nose in the piss is no use mate. best regards

yes oldnog, me to. poor boxer, better in dog heaven! lots of pills in the morning, lots of pills at evening. diseases, attacks, genetic and hereditary problems... and all from not working dog's!!!! in working dog's,with hard inbreeding or linebreeding we don't see that % of problems. we have sound and anatomic dog's not the best or beautiful dog's but worker ones. mutants dog breeds but the best pekinese best dog 2003 at crufts. you have to see it until the end... -

and the chairman of KC is a border terrier breeder!!! he knows about terrier skills he said. ridge's without ridge must be culled. fracking people. yes attack fell they are hipocrit and cinical that only see pounds. i to initiate in shows but when i was growing up i saw the big deifference, good workers produce good workers not beautiful ones but workers. And at my side i always prefer a work type than a show type. but this documentary is quite controversial, they believe they are right!!! and they talked about dogfighting people, they cull a dog that as a spot on the wrong -

both my bitch's have stick up ears, one is a patterdale the other is an apbt. none is crossbred. so your bitch ears don't fold. she is from working strains? is she from a inbreeding or a tight linebreeding? having ears or not, they don´t mess with the work they are getting in to. hehehe best regards

always complaining about antis and waht do you think will be the answer for your question mate? everyone is going to give you the phone number, they all know you and there is no problem in putting that info in a public forum with full of antis playing in here. sorry, but it's the truth. i love to have the privilige to talk with some persons but i don't ask their contacts in here. it's like "hunting ethics" and respect the terriermen. this is my humble opinion and i'm new to the game. best regards -
i only want to add something. in jagdterriers like in other game breed you want to look the dog that as more hunting instinct, i explain: the one that doesn't deny a hunt, always prepared, none or low (like a could dog) expression around people but a "hell broke loose" after is prey. i know some hard jagdterriers mainly from above the ground, like the ancestry of my young one, but i can say that is a really rely dog to go hunting above and below. why is that? because he has got hunting passion. some a early starters some are lazy and start later on, but they've got fire in them. i've se

but a little pattxstaffie or a russelxstaffie could give a fight to them coyotes or not? that's why you have coonhounds, American bulldog's and ameican pit bull terriers. about coonhounds, saw a plotthound (bloodhoundxapbt i think) this weekend, frack of a dog. stiff as hell, hard as steel. best regards

the best allrounder that i've seen was a couple of jagd terrier. is owner hunted fox and wild boar with it, badger is prohibited in my country. best regards

Exremely Conditioned Pitbull
heshimus replied to Little Butch's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
sorry dalijnr, but this was not the point. i can put some pics here that turn your gutts out!!! what's the matter can anyone have a conversation without looking into your belly bottoms? frack!!! allison, i like very much working with dog's but not all work is physical. a well balanced dog with good temperament is half way to a good outcome. i can have a great dog, full power ahead, extreme in physic attitude but without brains(intelligence and courage or "do or die" motive) what you do with him? What is the amount of stress applyed to a dog when he is doing weight pulling? do you thinks -
no b&t full ears, if you are talking the little one in my photo. best regards
