  8. a 2 litre bottle painted matt grey with a cardboard tail on the back and wings (stuck too the side) white neck and wing bars. pretty crude but you only need one to come to it then you can replace it with a real bird. ive not tried it but if your on a budjet it'll be better than nout!! or if you have time on your side a semi blown up balloon, this way you get some kind of neck shape, and covered with newspaper and pva glue (blue peter style) and painted! this way you get 2 deeks to every balloon (dried and cut in half like a shell deek) a few ideas for you to consider!! happy pigeoning!
  9. My Patt bitch has jus come into her first season, ive got all that phantom pregrancy bullsh*t to go yet!! shes only 6 mnths aswell, i didnt have a clue what was going on, cost me 30 quid at the vets to tell me shes on heat!
  10. Shoot away mate, me and a mate shot 30 a few months ago for a farmer whose field of barley had been decimated. my boss has shot them in parks and gardens out of season aswell. all legal under the general licencing. happy hunting!

Did my first ever left and right on the crows, and then did it twice on the pigeons! and had canada geese landing in the pattern!! roll on sept 1st!!!!

  15. Ive a problem with my 6 month old patterdale bitch eating mice that she catches in the grain at work. my boss's terrier loses interest as soon as they stop twitching, but mine swallows them whole! still kicking and all! i know this is bad because they can scratch their way out! jus wondering if any of you old hands had any advice. cant really keep her away from mice as shes trolling about the yard every day. Thanks in advance for any advice!
  16. Depends if any anti's saw it haha!
  17. Careful with the dog mate, it's illegal to hunt mice with dogs now, stupid as it seems! I don't suppose there's a law against a dog chasing a mouse that runs into the yard when the dog's in there though....... I sais nothing about hunting the mice with the dog, they're training her...to sit and such like. the 5 mouse standing on the dogs nose trick is a thing to see! Is it also illegal to hunt rats with the dog then? if theres mice in the bins they gotta go!!
  18. Some of my best days Pigeon shooting have been on rainy blustery days! in the woods or on the fields!
  19. I shoot mice in the grain bins in the yard all the time with my HW97k, great fun! although recently the mice have been training the patterdale terrier!!!! happy shooting!
