  3. Had a call last night from a mate who keepers a bit of land. this vixen had been taking pheasants and chickens, shame really she was just ready to drop. anyway the wee white dog did really well, her first fox this one. sorry about the shabby phone pics, everyone forgot camera's! good crack had by all though, should be a backfill photo here too but i forgot to take one, the earth will be holding again next year though Atb Molie
  4. my mate had a first cross staff/whippet, bags and bags of drive, bit too heavy set for bunnies but had a fair few on the lamp. deamon fox dog on the lamp, you wouldnt think it to look at him but he had speed to burn. was hit by a car just after xmas, the lad is looking for another bull whippet so they cant be bad, he liked him because of the size, a bull grey would be too big for him to keep. atb Molie
  5. looks like shes had a good enough season this time round! nice dog!
  6. Theres nothing like moving a bale or a shovelfull of dirt, and rats and terriers flying in all directions, get it done your two shouldnt have any trouble picking it up, wait till they get bitten, there'll be no stopping them. ATB Molie
  7. i would say its a coyote. those dogs are crackers!

  16. If the lad takes the dog on it will get treated better than his girlfriend and get more time spent with it aswell, the lad is genuine and looks after his dogs too the best standard. Look up some of my other posts, his last dog (which was a rescue aswell) is in some of them (staff x whippet) sadly got run over just before christmas. with regards too the feet, im no lurcherman so i dont know, is the flat footedness a problem ?! atb Molie
  17. Now this I would agree with so long as it is capable of the job or being trained to do the job or at least being hoovered regularly......
  18. we had him last night to test him out but the ground was rock solid so we didnt take him out, wasnt too bothered about running him anyway because hes not fit enough, pretty much been a lead dog all his life i think, you can see he's got sod all muscle! all he is trained to do is sit and give you his paw, shouldnt be too hard to work on the recall, theres a direct link between brain and stomach with this one! with regards to getting a pup instead, why should he get a pup when theres a dog that needs a home?!
