    Hi guys, just after your opinions on deerhounds. What are they like as a breed?(any pro´s and con´s) How are they to train? What were like on big game(pre ban) compared to other big game dogs, saluki, bull x ect? Are they any good on rabbits? Would you prefer a pure deerhound, 1/2 deer grey or 1/4 deer grey and reasons for your choice. Any info appreciated Cheers DG

    It was drontal, which hes had before, and he had lamb without the bone. he usually has lamb twice a week. Hes at the vets, staying overnight for observation and iv fluids. They are running test for anti freeze. Thanks for your advice. DG

    partners just taken him to the vets. Id rather him be seen, and someone then tell me im being stupid, then him not to be seen and me finding him in the morning in renal failure or worse. DG

    Im not sure hes getting better, those pics were taken 20 mins ago, hes looking grotty. Just syringed him some more fluids. Got to go to work in a bit, if hes no better tomorrow am hes going to the vets.

    my 7 month old pup was wormed on boxing day and all was well, on the 27th he cut one of his toes with barbed wire(to the bone), so i cleaned it with neat TCP(wound healing well). He was very quite in the house on the 27 but fine out walking, gave him 1/3rd lamb breast which he scoffed down. He had not touched biscuits thoroughout the day. At about 20.00 on the 27th he vomited. he was looking a bit sorry for himself. When i saw him the next am there was patches of vomit everwhere, let him outside and he had the shits. Look like he had lost all condition overnight, tucked up and greasy coat,
