Ullswater Country Fair will be holding annual event in the Playfields, Glenridden, Patterdale, Cumbria on 26 June 2011. Terrier, Lurcher and Foxhound show starts 12 noon sharp. All the usual main ring event, beer tent and stalls. Come along and support the Ullswater Foxhounds.

Didn't make the show this year, due to the dogs having Kennel Cough and the death of one of my bitches. Knowing the organisers I'm sure they did their best to make it a good day out for everybody as usual. I'm just getting a bit fedup reading the posts from the whingers who never seem to have a good thing to say about any of the shows, organisers or the people who attend with their dogs. Maybe if they were totally ignored and no responce made to their comments,they would just fade away.

First one will be cardross game fair mate at the lake of montieth think it the first wkend in may. try google search. Heard that there is no Terrier show at this event. Just Terrier racing on the Saturday and Sunday. Think the competition from Neilson Terrier Show was to much for them BASC website confirms only family dog show on the Saturday. Save your money and come to Neilson and support the real working Terrier lads.

Heard from one of the organisers, last night, that the Patterdale Dog Day Show due to take place this Saturday has been cancelled due to flooding and an outbreak of Kennel Cough in the Ullswater area.

The Ullswater Country Show is being held on Sunday, the 29th of June at 11.00 am at the King George Playing Fields, Glenridding, by Patterdale, Cumbria. There are classes for Foxhounds, Terriers and Lurchers. All dogs must be pre-entered before start of show, at approx. 12 noon. The show is a qualifier for 'Cock of the North' and the 'Scottish Champion of Champions' at Glamis Castle. There is a separate ring for junior handlers which is a qualifier for 'Champion Young Handler' at the Wolsingham Show(by Durham) on the 7th of September. The main ring events will include Birds of Pre
