HELP!! how to stop 6month old pup eating crap?

my 14 week old jrt bitch does it aswell as soon as one of my other dogs has a shite she licking its lips ..... minging !!! hopeing she will soon grow out of it . what does rock sulphur do and were can you get it -

got a 10 week jrt bitch she is penned up with my staffy dog problem is she picking his shit up and carrying it in to the kennel she also plays with it aswell and she does not mind having a shite in the kennel as well !!! has anyone else had this problem if so how did you cure it .i have never known a pup to do this and i am hopeing it will grow out of it soon any sugestion ?

just bought a russel bitch 2 weeks ago mate paid £140 for it nice stamp of a dog when i was looking for a pup borders were from £250 to £400

i work for the council emptying big euro bins anyway you quite often get rats feeding in them at one location [a butchers ] i often call back with the staffy and lurcher an kill a few. the next unit is a garage the owner has a 4 year old border terrier dog he told me the dog is allways chasing rats but never caught one but is very keen and i should try him so i blocked the holes up shock the bin out comes first rat dog straight at it threw it about abit but soon stopped when he got bit so i kill the rat an pick up the border shake bin again out comes second rat let the border go he ran in a a

i take mine out with the lurcher he has got exellent nose on him allways finds game if its there for the lurcher to run only ever caught a handfull of rabbits himself but loves it when mixy is about [ cant believe his luck ] very good at ratting though

just wondering if anyone keeps more then two dogs in one pen .i have staffy dog and a bull/grey collie/grey bitch in same big kennel bitch is boss and never had any trouble . i fancy getting a jrt but not got room for another pen . would i be asking for trouble with three in together ?

i had my staffy balls off a couple of years ago( only got one pen he shares with lurcher bitch ) it did not affect him at all no wait gain and he stills does my head in trying to shag her as soon as she comes in season

from the older pups i seen on my only visit there i would have to say no but the younger ones all seemed ok i think he lets them go at 8 wks old at that age its up to you to socialise to them .but go and have a look it cost nowt and he seems to be a decent bloke .alot of people slate him and his dogs on here but you should form your own opinion of him i have and i would buy of him next time you only have to look at w.hunters storm to see what he can produce

just to add to my last coment .from the age of 2 month to 4 month in a pup is vital to them to build confidance for the rest of they lives i take my out to town centers .parks full of screamin kids.in heavy trafic .cattle markets ect .all my dogs end up being bold and confidant which is how you need a lurcher to be .but a dog that has been kept in a pen and not been out socailising for the first 4 months of its live could be a lot harder work [nerverse scatty etc ] thats my personal opintion anyway best of luck with what ever you decide

i went down to hancocks 3yrs ago with the intenion of buying a3/4 cross . whilst there i looked at some older dogs and to be honest mate they were all nerverse recks shit scared of me the wife and kids all of them hid at the back of a big pen dont get me wrong i am not anti hancock but if ever bought one i would want to get it as young as possible.the good thing about his dogs is you can be 100percent sure what you are getting alot off other pups get sold as what ever the parents happen to look like

i never usually coment on other peoples sales as i am not looking for a dog [happy with the one i got] but must say these pups look like they have the breeding to make top class all rounders

i am not into slagging peoples dogs off as long as your happy with your own dont worry about other peoples dogs alot of people on here seem obsessed with hancocks dogs .anyway i knew a man that two had hancock dogs 5/8 cross w hen they retired he got a 3/4 cross he said it could do everthing the 5/8 could do but was alot faster and much better for hares .sorry no pictures though.i

i am not in to all this slagging off peoples dogs each to the own aslong as your happy with your own dont worry about other peoples !! i did go down to hancocks 3yrs ago however with the intenion of buying a three quater cross none were ready at the time but he had some older dogs about six off them not one off them would come out of the corner of pen all were shit scarerd of me the wife and the kids totally unsocialised i did not go back down for a pup i bought bull grey collie grey from cmw instead having said that i would still considered getting a hancock pup if i could get it no older

i had a 20 inch whipet cross that used to go to ground if she got he chance she would work bales and run drains like a terrier
