  1. You will have to ask them that yourself. Yup. They will be at the next show.
  2. Lovely!!!! An the ferret aint bad either Now you see why the raffle does well. I make those two hotties sell the tickets.
  3. I know some of you attended the show so thought I would share a few of the pictures we took on the day. It was a fab turn out and everything ran smooth. Thanks to all of you who attended. Prizes And Best in Show Thanks again for making it such a fab day and for the huge turn out! We will definitely be holding another one next year.
  4. Today is the day to make sure nails are cut for the show if you haven't already done so and clean ears on the day. See you there Dave and Linda.

  6. I wouldn't class him as a silver either but he is cute none the less.
  7. Is this a confirmed case? I have rang around to all the vets in the Darlington area and Bishop, Crook and Durham and they haven't seen a case of distemper in quite some time. If there was an outbreak, with having a rescue, I would obviously want to shut my doors for a period of time.
  8. Fifty quid? You're taking the Michael aren't you? The satisfaction of passing on knowledge to somebody keen to learn should be enough reward. No, I am not. I am not lucky enough to know any responsible hunters around the area but the one and that is his rates. Not mine. I didn't set the rates. Yes, I agree it should be free but who am I to say what people should and shouldn't charge.
  9. Maybe he had a fall and injured his back leg. Best to get him to a vet to get it checked.
  10. I willl second that great photo Thanks guys.
  11. There is a difference between a responsible hunter and a irresponsible hunter. And there is law/rules in place to try to ensure that hunting is done responsibly. In my opinion there was nothing in rabbit hole that was so awful and dangerous that it required the shotgun to be aimed into the hole and fired without even knowing what the animal was. You never know what you might find in an animal hole. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/worl...ticle668198.ece And before anyone asks, yes, I have probably hunted more variety of animals than most here.
  12. Hey Cameron. I know a fellow that will take you out for the whole day for 50 quid. It also includes teaching you everything you need to know about ferreting and more. If you want to know more PM me and I will pass you on the details.
  13. My first outing. I am the one behind the camera. And the one that got away.
  14. The coati was a surprise but the skunks weren't. I had no idea she was bringing the coati until that morning when she said she was on her way. Great pics though and what a great day! Wear Valley Ferret Rescue netted a little bit of vet funds which was excellent all thanks to John. We owe him a bottle of bourbon for that. I reckon he should have another show towards the end of the year.
  15. I think you should edit your title and change it to Ferret vs Shotgun
